Description

Your options have never been better with Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Options+ Wide-Neck Bottle. From nipple to base, the Options+ Wide-Neck Bottle makes for a comfortable feeding experience for baby and eases the transition from breast to bottle and back again. Starting at the top, each nipple is specially engineered to offer the same consistent, natural flow, so you and baby know what to expect in every feeding. The NEW breast-like nipple shape is correctly contoured for a proper latch and a more natural bottle feeding experience - perfect for switching from breast to bottle and back again! Together with the anti-colic internal vent system, baby feeds without fuss.
It's Good to Have Options+
Our bottles work best with the vent system in place -but it's great to have options when baby's feeding develops. Just remove the vent when you feel it's time -no need to introduce a different bottle. See, the vent system isn't the only means of venting in the Options+ bottle. Our bottle nipples feature their own venting system that offers a feeding experience similar to most nipple-vented bottles.
Dishwasher (top rack) and sterilizer safe. BPA Free.

These were the first bottles I tried and my baby loves them- I really lucked out that I didn’t have to go through multiple to find the one he’d take.

Used for a week with no issues and now they all leak. Don’t buy unless you don’t mind wasting milk and getting it everywhere.

It seems the more you use these the more they leak. It's HORRIBLE. This morning, within 5 minutes of starting his bottle the entire front of my son's outfit was drenched from it leaking. The only sure way I've found them to not leak is to take the vent out. Nevermind the fact that these 9oz bottles a GINORMOUS! Wtf, it's like a big pop can! If you are seriously looking for anti-colic you're probably better off going with the Evenflo bottles. Those are normal sized and don't leak. Otherwise any other bottle will do you fine. Just not these ones.

Lesson Learned

I love buying the 8oz skinny bottles by Dr. Browns. However, my baby has a much bigger appetite and so I saw that they had these 9oz bottles, so I bought them. They are just leaking everywhere. I had to go back to the 8oz ones since my baby was covered in milk using these. I’ll stick with the 8oz ones. Lesson learned.

Love these bottles

These are the best bottles for 2 reasons. First babies don’t seem to get colic. Second is if your breast feeding they have the wide nipples and your not stuck with a bottle that doesn’t offer a wide nipple.

These are ridiculous. A)they’re HUGE. Like I’d you need to feed a 2 year old, give these a try but otherwise they gigantic even compared to the regular 8oz Dr. Brown’s bottles. You can fit one complete set in a sterilizer bag only. My REAL gripe with these though - clearly you’re not using this bottle for a newborn or 3mo old. WHY DO THEY COME WITH NUMBER 1 NIPPLES which the box says is for 0mo+??? Because Dr. Brown’s company wants to sell you more appropriate nipples separately for your adult child on these huge bottles and get more of your money.

My son loves these bottles... they don't leak while he is drinking his formula. If you tighten it too much they will leak alittle so make sure to leave it a bit loose. I have no complaints.

Leak everywhere

Look, these are probably great if your baby needs an anti-colic bottle but for anyone else I’d suggest looking elsewhere. These leak everywhere. All the time. With the cap on, sitting up vertically, after you’ve triple checked the nipple is screwed on tightly. They’ll get sticky formula everywhere or waste precious breastmilk. We got them after they were recommended for babies who nurse. I do love the wide nipple, but other bottles have that without the revolting mess.

This bottle worked well for my son. We originally were feeding breastmilk and supplementing with formula due to him being under weight and a preemie. We eventually found out he has a cows milk protien allergy and we needed to switch to formula. After working with a spt and ot we decided to try this bottle for my little one. We had much better results with latching and sucking using the wide neck bottles. Only thing we wish is that these bottles offered a transitional nipple like the narrow ones have.

Neck Allows for Less Mess

Wider neck allows for less less when using powdered formula. However, these tend to leak sometimes which can be solved by reassembling. I’ve been using these bottles since my son turned 6 months, before I was using the narrow neck, The bigger size Nipples are somewhat hard to find.

Baby took the bottles easily BUT….

Frustrated grossed out - 4 months ago
originally posted on drbrownsbaby.com
No issues with my baby taking the bottle. Went with these because every single doctor recommended them. I use them without the vent system. I first used the glass wide neck, then polypropylene wide neck because my carpal tunnel couldn’t handle the weight. However, I always have to be super careful about screwing the lids on super tightly so they don’t randomly leak. But the biggest negative issue was that almost half of the nipples become covered in a cloudy, slightly sticky and slimy film within a day of washing them — the outside, not the inside. Over half are clear but the rest are not. I always wash immediately, I always scrub with a brush, and sanitize them various ways (boiling & dishwasher) after rinsing, scrubbing with hot soapy water and the cloudy film STILL comes back. Using with breastmilk almost always, with a bottle of formula probably once every couple days but it doesn’t matter, either way it keeps on happening. At this point, I’ve thrown away 2 nipples so far and have 4 more just sitting on my counter (after washing/scrubbing/sanitizing multiple times to see and test how it’ll go away.. which it doesn't), which was fine at first because the set I bought came with so many, but now it’s a frustrating and gross issue. Why?! :(

PLEASE SUPPORT THIS COMPANY

I received this as a gift for my newborn and he was having trouble eating from these bottles. it seems they fed him to fast for his speed BUT I contacted customer service and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They truly care about their customers and their babies. They tried helping me troubleshoot which didn’t help my babies feeding issue so they are sending different bottles and nipples to try that should better suit my baby. This company is amazing and everyone should buy from them because they really care and go above and beyond to help you be successful with bottle feeding!

BELIEVE THE COMMENTS ABOUT THE LEAKS!!!! if i had known they leaked would’ve never put them on baby registry!! your wasting such milk (whether it’s formula or breastmilk), it’s leaks when you feed your baby, it’s leaks if you have the cap on it!!! now i see why the come with this white round cap piece that sits in nipple holder so you can shake the bottle up. but what about when I’m feeding my baby, what stops those leaks ??????

I love my other Dr brown bottles. These are terrible! They leak all the time. More formula is wasted in these than the others. I would not recommend these to anyone.

We’ve used Dr Brown’s through 2 kids. The old bottles would leak from time to time but the newest version has not leaked once. We tried a wide range of bottle and Dr Brown’s stands out among the rest. Highly recommend over other brands.

I like the bottles they work well with my baby girl but the bottle leaks entirely too much. Everything gets soaked just from the bottle being upside down for a few seconds and I’m always constantly having to clean up the leakage from the bottle. I wish they made the bottle spill proof.
