Dr. Scholl’s® Freeze Away® Skin Tag Remover is the first over-the-counter FDA cleared technology for skin tag removal – so you can remove embarrassing skin tags in the privacy of your own home. It is clinically proven to remove skin tags in as little as one treatment, leveraging the same cryotherapy freezing method used by doctors worldwide. It’s easy to use with 5 simple steps. After treatment, most skin tags will fall off in about two weeks.
Why It Works:
'A skin tag is a small, soft piece of skin that may be raised from the skin and hang off the skin by a connecting stalk. Skin tags are considered to be harmless but they can become irritated if anything rubs on them. Dr. Scholl’s® Freeze Away® Skin Tag Remover instantly freezes the skin tag, destroying the tissue. This will usually cause the skin tag to fall off with as little as 1 treatment.
How To Use:
STEP 1
Attach the foam applicator stick by firmly twisting it into the opening on the bottom of the actuator.
STEP 2
Keeping the canister upright, press the actuator all the way down for 3-5 seconds to saturate the applicator.
STEP 3
Remove the foam applicator and actuator from the shield and wait 15 seconds before applying to the skin tag.
STEP 4
Insert the actuator into the skin tag holder as shown.
STEP 5
Position the skin tag holder behind the skin tag. Slide the skin tag holder forward until the skin tag reaches the base of the holder. Press down on the actuator to make contact with the skin tag. Apply continuously for 40 seconds and no longer.
Use one applicator for each skin tag.
Canister contains dimethyl ether, propane, isobutane.

Q: When it says to not use in the "same location" does that mean to not do two on the neck at the same time, or not do two within an inch or two at the same time?

A: Hello! Do not treat more than 1 skin tag per location on the body at one time. Any remaining skin tags can be treated separately with a 2 week interval between treatments. This minimizes any chance of "over freezing," which can result in burns and permanent scarring of healthy tissue.

Q: What can I use for the painful burns?

A: Hello! Sorry to hear that you experienced a burn with use of the Dr. Scholl's Skin Tag Remover. If used according to directions, the freeze should have only touched the skin tag and not the surrounding skin. If you somehow have experienced a burn, you can apply a cool cloth or a cloth filled with ice. Later, you can treat the area with a pain relief spray for burns that has a pain relief agent in it. A: Hello! After application of first treatment, you should wait 14 days before next treatment if the skin tag hasn’t fallen off. I wouldn't recommend using this. I tried on a few skin tags. It stings a little at first, but wasn't too bad. But then they got painful and irritated before finally dying and falling over a week or two later. However on the bigger ones, the whole thing didn't even come off so I still have a skin tag there.

Do not use. I filled the instructions to the T. The skin tags didn't hurt I just didn't like the way they looked or made me feel. However, now they are burned and swollen with scabs.

When this arrived, I opened the package and read the instructions and found it intimating to use so I delayed using it for a while. Finally decided to use it and had to reread the instructions a few times to ensure I don’t injure myself. Overall great otc option as opposed to going to the doctor’s office.

From time to time these pop up for me, and it’s great to have something on hand that can save a trip to the doctor. I’ve never used a product like this before, but the box boasts of a new and improved applicator, and I found it super easy to use- so I think they are right. The product comes with 8 treatments, but I’ve only had to try it once so far. I was pleased with how helpful the instructions are in both identifying skin tags that can be used with this product as well as a step by step guide (with pictures) on what to do. This made the actual skin tag removal super easy. This is definitely a helpful product you’ve in hand in the medicine cabinet if you’re prone to skin tags now and again. It also has a shelf life of about 2 years, so those 8 treatments will surely get used. I’m grateful to have this on hand should any more skin tags pop up.

This product had nice minimal packaging. It worked pretty well, it removed most of what he wanted it to but a couple of them were stubborn so we’ll have to do another pass at it. He said it wasn’t to painful just slightly uncomfortable. All in all it was a decent product
