DIRECTIONS FOR USE: To open, push the cap down and turn counterclockwise. Close tightly after use.1. Pout 1/2 bottle slowly down into drain.2. Wait for 45-60 minutes.3. Flush drain with hot water. Repeat if necessary.

Never use a plunger during or after use of DRANO® Balance because product may still be present if drain is not clear. Do not reuse empty container. Rinse container and replace cap before discarding.

IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. Seek medical advice. I went exactly by instructions twice. Used the whole bottle and thought it made a slight difference, the bath still doesn't drain normally.

Does this not work for bathtub? I had bought two bottles togther from Target in Oct. Emptied whole bottle in last week of Dec as after guest went after winter vacation, bathroom tub was taking time to get water out from drainage ...and then just yesterday I used second bottle, but its still the same.. :(

This product did not work my bathroom sink. I tried two rounds of this product and it maybe barely dissolved or dislodged “something.” The water slowly drains but after two rounds of Drano Balance Clog I expected clear drains.

Used half the bottle, and ran hot water, still seemed clogged. Tried snaking the drain and then used it again and after that it seemed all cleared up. Worked eventually but I would’ve preferred it handled the problem without having to snake in between.

We used up the whole bottle. Flushed the drain with 2 rounds of hot water each time and it somehow made the clog worse than before. Went back out to repurchase Drano Max Gel and it seems to have fixed the problem. Although Drano Balance sounds like a nice product that's easier on the pipes, it does nothing and ends up creating more hazardous waste without fixing the clog problem.

I wanted to love this, but it doesn’t work. Also smells the same after a couple of minutes. I tried 1 bottle and then when I didn’t get results tried a second. Both sat for 1 hour and were rinsed with hot water but did nothing for my drain. I’ve used the original product in the past and have always been satisfied, so I will only purchase that going forward.

My bathroom sink had an odor coming from it. I tried to unscrew the pipes but I wasn't able to get it to budge. Although it wasn't clogged or backed up, this helped get rid of whatever was in the pipe causing the bad smell. For less than $6 and half a bottle, definitely worth it and didn't have to call a plumber. It also didn't have any harsh smells which was a plus. Would recommend for what I needed it for.

After my shower suddenly started pooling water, I knew I had to get something for the drain, fast. I'm not a fan of harsh unclogging products, so when this caught my eye, I decided to give it a go. It did the job as promised. The instructions were straightforward and in a big enough font to be legible. Just pour it down the drain, wait 45-60 minutes and rinse with hot water. Love that it doesn't have an offensive smell and is more environmentally friendly. I'm actually excited about showering again tomorrow. Thank you, Drano. :)

It is safe for all pipes but the only problem is the hour wait time for running hot water through pipes. My suggestion is to do it whenever everybody's about ready for bed and have it done. Great product. You won't be disappointed

It is easy to use and helped my shower clog issue solved after 1 hour. Just pour 1/2 bottle slowly into the drain, let it sit for about an hour, and flush the drain with hot water. The problem was resolved without any issues.

I felt like this one worked okay but I did use up the entire bottle on my shower and the clog wasn't even as bad as it can be sometimes. I don't know if this formulation is just weaker or what, but I feel like the usual bottles I use (the red one) works faster with less product. This one doesn't smell as strong and maybe it isn't as strong. I think for minor clogs, this will do the job. If you have long haired family members who frequently shed, this might be not as effective as you'd like.
