Green Gobbler Drain Clog Dissolver - 31 fl oz

I rarely leave reviews unless something is truly worthy and this product is. I’ve had a very slow moving tub drain (buildup of bath products, since I use a drain strainer to catch hair) and since I live in a pre-war building (80+ yrs old) I don’t want to use things like Drano since it harms the pipes. I’ve tried natural remedies (citric acid/baking soda/boiling water) that did very little, unfortunately. I’d been reading about enzyme cleaners and this was always suggested in reviews, usually at the top. It delivered. After one overnight application the tub drained in half the time. After a second application, it was back to normal. Fume free, although as it says on the bottle, make sure it only gets in the drain, it can slightly mark the surface around it (just the metal drain hole and it’s faded already). Highly recommend.

I like this product because you can use in on toilets. Usually you have to get something special for toilets. It’s enough for two uses. Says it’s effective on hair, grease, soap scum, toilet paper, and flushable wipes. It’s bleach free. I’ll use it for maintenance every once a while. Would recommend.

We used to be loyal to drain-o and nothing else, until we tried this Green Gobbler and now there’s no going back. It unclogs the nastiest of clogs easily and quickly. I recommend this to all of my dad friends.

We use drain clog dissolvers a lot and this one has made the top of our list. I love that half the bottle takes care of one of our standard clogs. Usually, it takes the whole bottle, so getting two uses has my wallet singing its praises.

I haven't had a chance to actually try this but we frequently have hair clogs so I am hopeful it will work well and solve the problem in a more environmentally friendly way. Seems like a good product for your drain issues.

Great product. I have never seen or used this brand before. Will definitely buy this again. I have had a clogged (slow draining) drain and this cleared it within 10 minutes. A household with girls has clogged drains often. This will be bought in bulk.

We liked that this was septic safe for our system. I didn't notice any odor when I poured this in the tub. I let it it sit overnight and ran the hot water in the morning. The water seems to be going down a bit better. Going to run the second one in a few days and should be good to go. We are a family of 5 with three girls so I think the hair just built up.

If you live in a home with anyone who has long hair, then you likely have dealt with clogged bathroom sinks or bathtub drains. Having to deal with slow-draining tubs and sinks is frustrating, and sometimes the drain snake doesn't work and you're also not ready to call a plumber or start taking pipes apart yourself. That’s when you have to use some kind of liquid drain uncloggger. The last time I needed something, I gave Green Gobbler a try. It worked well enough for a quick fix. It's marketed as a high-density formula, which, not knowing anything about plumbing, sounds good. It's designed to sink (no pun intended) through any standing water to get to the blockage at the source, which is what you need when your tub is already backed up. The main job of this cleaner is to dissolve organic matter, which means mostly hair, but also soap scum. The convenience of a liquid drain unclogger is another plus. Many people prefer this type of product because it’s often designed to be odorless and fume-free, making the it less unpleasant to use that other products. The downside to this one and others is that they can be bad for your pipes, or so plumbers will tell you, so it's probably not a good idea to use them too often.

I was a bit hesitant to try a product with this osrt of name, thinking its just a gimmick. But, I had a slow kitchen drain, and using liquid plumber only seemed to help slightly. So I tried this stuff, followed directions, and it worked! Completely free running drain now.

We have a lot of females in the house. So the drains always clog, and it's usually hair or biodegradable things. And this took care of it with just one use. Sometimes it takes a couple and all kinds of work to get it dissolved. But this was very simple, down the drain, cleaned it out. And we have smooth drains again. Very easy to use, not too harsh on anything. And just harsh enough to clear the clogs definitely recommend for any household drain problem.

One of our bathtubs/showers has always been slow draining and we have tried multiple drain de-cloggers with some success each time but this one by far was the best one we’ve used. The water drains at a much quicker pace than before.

I want to give this ZERO stars. I followed the product's instructions. It did not work, like not at all. Clog did not move AT ALL! I want my money back.

We had a site clog in one of our drains and applied the Green gobbler with the instructions and found that it cleared it after the second application. It could be that I didn't quite use enough of the required amount for the first go but I was happy to see that the problem was dissolved and everything seem to be running much better with the drain afterwards.

I used the Green Gobblin drain unclogged solution to tackle a bathroom sink that was draining slowly. I followed the directions which will give you 2 uses. It was easy. Just pour in clog, allow to sit and run hot water after. It worked as described and the best part was there was no annoying chemical smell. Definitely would recommend!

Perfect timing!! I received this and tried it out on our sink that has been slow draining for a Few months now. There was no harsh smell and it worked perfectly! Drain flows much better now. Like that it is safe for septic and that it is bleach free. I also like the lines on the side of the bottle than shows you exactly how much product to use.
