Q: I followed directions but it didn't foam. What could I have done wrong?

A: sometimes if my disposal is particularly gross, i find i need to use a second one, and that one really foams up. i also noticed they tend to get weaker in foaming action as they age, like a bath bomb (both use baking soda). so if you got yours a while ago and they used to foam, that might be why.

U dont have to touch the slime!

I love them. Who wants to blindly stick their hand into a slimy stinky drain? Not me! I never saw them advertised on socials, just purchased these a few times on my own without any expectations. Came here to buy more and was surprised to see negative reviews. Sounds like influencers overhyped a good product or maybe a second run was needed esp if gunk is really built up. They do work for me! I run very little water offset into the drain while it’s cleaning. I usually do it a second time and it really foams up and out of the drain. That’s when it cleans the gross underside of the flexible disposal guard. I have a busy household so I try to do this 1/week. Icky smells are gone and my kiddo thinks it’s the coolest cleaning job ever. They’re expensive but absolutely necessary to clean out the gunk without touching it!

Foams up okay if you put 5 down the drain at once lol. Strong lemon smell but I’m not sure it did anything right actually clean. I might just try baking soda and vinegar next time.

I saw this product promoted in FB reels. They show foam bubbling up to clean the full disposal. Despite following instructions to a T, this plastic packet just ground up in my disposal - no foam, no cleaning.

This is super effective keeping a good smell and cleaned better then products I’ve used the the past. It’s easy to use and at a great value. Also Great with any buildup you might be having. It’s a no for me. It’s displayed like it’s a product that’s gonna last at least a minute when it’s working, that it’s gonna foam up, that it’s going to reach all areas of your disposal, but none of those things are true. It foams for five seconds and then disappears to your disposal. It doesn’t actually ever get a chance to clean nor does it clean the way that it’s displayed. I think there are other products that actually foam up take up space in your disposal that will clean more efficiently. The only good thing about this product is that it doesn’t smell bad. But I would never purchase it again as it didn’t really do anything. The product itself lasted 5 to 10 seconds and it didn’t help with any disposal cleansing or scent. Don’t buy this one. Try a different product.

don't work

I'm honestly confused how these have such high reviews. I thought maybe I got a bad batch or something but looks like everyone else had the same problem. they don't foam at all. I find it hard to believe these clean the disposal at all because I even broke one open thinking that would work and the powder didn't react at all to the water.

Tried to use these twice, carefully following the directions. It did not foam at all. Literally money down the drain!
