Fresh scent and work great
My family has been using these Cascade Dishwasher cleaner for years. These tablets work really well. They leave the dishwasher clean and smell fresh. Super easy to use and follow, you just need to drop one in, close the lid and run a cycle. Great quality and great price. I highly recommend this clean to everyone

These things are awesome!! They smell good (not that it really matters) and they work even better. They’re simple to toss into the washer and forget about. They do all the work for you! I live in a rural area with well water and these are great for getting all residue, grime and gunk off.

Overpowering Fragrance - Buyer Beware!
I work around a lot of powerful smells and don't have a problem , but the overwhelming fragrance of this product should not be underestimated. I had to seal off the kitchen and put the range hood on maximum to limit the odor into the rest of the house. My wife could not even enter the kitchen. The product seems to clean, but it also has a VERY intense off-putting smell. If Cascade came out with a fragrance-free version I'd be glad to try it, but this specific product is something I will not use again - even if it was free. I feel people with sensitive noses or respiratory issues should avoid this item.

Hands down the best dishwasher tabs. My dishes are always sparkling clean. No grease or food particles left. Love the convension and packaging of the tabs. Plus it leaves my dishwasher smelling fresh and clean.

Would not recommend- strong offensive fragrance
My dishwasher didn't smell before I used this product, but it sure smelled afterwards. It has been almost a week since and there is still a strong fragrance that I find offensive. There should be a warning label on the product that alerts anyone who has reactions to perfume. I will not be using the rest of the product or ever buying again.

Deep cleans and refreshes your dishwasher with vis
I was really impressed with how well the Cascade Dishwasher Cleaner worked. It was super easy to use — just pop it into the dishwasher and run a cycle. The cleaner removed built-up residue and hard water spots that regular washing never seemed to touch. After one use, the inside of my dishwasher looked noticeably brighter and smelled fresh again. TERRIBLE Machine Cleaner | Use Plain Citric Acid
I've had problems with a plethora of P&G products at this point, so I can't say I'm surprised. The fact that Tide detergent straight up gave me hives should have been enough red flags to avoid choosing Cascade for anything. Unfortunately, we believed the marketing, so here we go... I hadn't had any problems with the detergent despite the fact that the tub WREAKED of the Fresh Scent, and because our new LG dishwasher recommended this, we gave it a try. I have an awful sense of smell and taste, but according to someone in our family who has a better sense of smell and taste, this dishwasher cleaner's smell persists on dishes and in the dishwasher. Not only that, the product does not clean well at all. Actual dishwasher cleaners are supposed to clean the filter in addition to the tub, and this junk did not. It turns out, according to Cascade's marketing, that the filter cleaning ingredients are in Cascade Platinum Plus detergent which we don't use anymore. It didn't even dissolve in water in the Machine Clean cycle. There would always be some of the plastic film stuck down by the filter for several washes. And yes, we used two of these Machine Cleaner pacs EVERY TIME.

If your dishes are absorbing the scent, it's possible they have become porous and should be washed by hand. It might help to know that cast iron and plastic items can absorb flavors. If an item is porous, we do not recommend soaking; instead, wash it immediately and rinse thoroughly. To remove the taste/smell, soak the dishes in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added to it. If you choose to wash the dishes in the dishwasher, pour some vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher, along with some vinegar directly into the dispenser. Another factor that can contribute to the taste is if the dishes are not rinsed off completely. Please double-check the dishwasher sprayer arms to make sure they are not clogged. We understand hard water and other factors may sometimes affect cleaning performance. We recommend running your dishwasher when there are no other water supplies running, like the washing machine or the shower. This way, you’ll have a full water fill and pressure. Also, please be sure the water temperature is at least 120°F so the Cleaner can dissolve properly. We’d like an opportunity to learn more about your recent purchase and continue assisting you.
