Dream Maker Dolly - (Inspiring Women Artists) by Lydia Corry (Paperback)

Book Synopsis

This is the iconic country music artist and performer Dolly Parton like you've never seen her before!

Dolly Parton is one of the most widely known musical artists of the twenty first-century. As a gifted vocalist, instrumentalist, and songwriter, Dolly has created countless generationally beloved hits for listeners of all ages to fall in love with.

However, before being known as an award-winning performer, Dolly Parton was just a young girl growing up in the smoky mountains of Eastern Tennessee. From digging holes on the hillside with her siblings, to being dragged through briars by her family's dairy cow, Dream Maker Dolly illuminates the lesser-known details of Dolly Parton's childhood full of equal parts adventure and self-discovery.
