Q: does it need a switch to turn on? I can make it sound when pushing it down but couldn't control it to run or turn

A: Hello Hai. Here are the instructions to get you started: 1. Make sure the ON/OFF switch on the monster truck is in the ON position. 2. Press on the monster truck’s roof, then press any button on the remote. 3. The monster truck will automatically go into sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity to save power. Wake up by pressing on the monster truck’s roof. 4. In case the monster truck disconnects from the controller, switch the truck OFF and back ON again. Then, press the RESET BUTTON on the back of the remote. Continue with step 2.

Q: I bought this just a few weeks ago. it has only been used inside.Now, the truck will no longer turn when you use the button to turn it. I have reset it, and nothing. the other functions all work fine.

Worse RC we have ever bought
We bought two…one for each of my boys. We paid the $22 for them or possibly even more. They both broke within the first hour of using them. There was no way to repair them either. Poorly made, over priced & a waste of batteries too. Don’t buy it.

Avoid this toy
My grandson was excited to receive the truck as a gift. However, straight out of the box and putting batteries in the remote resilted in NOTHING working from the remote. I've followed all of the trouble shooting steps, including replacing all batteries, trying reset options and NO LUCK as the remote will not connect; the light on the remote never turns on. This is not a good product considering 1/3 of the reviews are 1 star. Should be zero stars since the toy doesn't work.

Not worth the on sale price
Very inexpensive for a reason. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but it literally gets stuck on almost flat dirt. This is Arizona dirt so I'm talking flat dry desert. And it's not spinning wheels or anything like that. It just has such a weak little motor it really can only run on very smooth paved outdoor surfaces or indoors on tile. It can barely manage carpet. Barely worth a chuckle or two so I'd say a much safer bet just buying something actually 4x4 with a bigger motor.

It did not work properly. The remote control made the noise that sounded like it would work, but the actual truck did not move. My grandson was very sad and disappointed that his Christmas gift did not work!
