Q: Need to use this for 'labeling' plastic storage containers: (1) can you write on the tape without the sharpie ink smearing? and (2) can the tape be removed easily when changing the containers use?

  • A: Thank you for your question! The tape can be used to label on plastic storage containers, and a sharpie marker should not smear. When removing, there is a chance there will be adhesive left behind if on for longer periods of time and if exposed to extreme temperatures.

Q: If I leave this on a countertop or wood cabinet for up to 5 months in a air controlled environment where it never gets to hot and isn't hit by the sun will it leave a gluey residue since it's not hot?

Q: Can this be used outdoors to help seal windows? Example, have wooden "window" blocks for crawlspace openings in winter. There is always a gap someplace, in regular windows, also. Need an exterior safe yet removable wide tape, clear or white. Thank you.

    Looks nice but useless tape

    Bought some electric blue duck tape about a month ago, and the quality is just awful. It doesn’t rip well and this is coming from someone who can rip gorilla tape. More importantly though is that it doesn’t stick well, I would be better off with wet masking tape.

    Not the same

    The white tape is not the same quality I remember. It is very thin and doesn’t stick like the older duck tape. Maybe just the white tape idk.

    Wasteful Tape

    Worst tape I have ever used! So much wasted tape just trying to rip a piece off. Scissors didn’t even make it better. SAVE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT BUY. Not sure if all of their tape is this crummy, but definitely do not buy the white tape!!

    It works snd the correct color

    Strong tape, no residue

    I have bought this specific white color so many times I lost count. It’s sturdy but doesn’t ruin anything when you need to take it off. I used it over the summer to help seal in a window unit ac and it worked well without making the unit stand out more. When it was time to take it down it peeled right off with zero issues and no residue left over.

    Poor Quality

    Extremely Poor quality. The tape is so thin it's see thru. It was also hard to cut and apply without it folding onto, and sticking to itself, because it was so thin. It also doesn't stick well at all. Applied in the afternoon and by evening edges had already started coming off. It is not applied to anything difficult either. A clean smooth surface.

    Thin adhesive layer almost transparent

    I bought this last week. It is so obviously a decrease in quality. The adhesive layer is no longer a dense white but a very thin layer of adhesive that it is almost transparent. We have used this product for many heavy duty projects — on a boat renegade entry, home made tabaggon for pond skimming. Now have to find a different product. So disappointing. Can’t even use it on my barn tools.
