WORST JUNK TAPE I'VE EVER USED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!
I bought 2 rolls of this tape for use while painting my spare bedroom. I made doubly sure the edges were sealed and was very careful to make certain the paint was totally dry 24 hours later before removing it. Every single surface had paint spots that came off with the tape and now I have to spend an entire evening going over every single little spot where it pulled off the paint and even a few spots where it pulled off down to the dry wall. This tape is JUNK and will cause you to waste as much time fixing everything as it took to paint it in the first place. Save your time and money and DO NOT BUY THIS TAPE! IT'S THE WORST I'VE EVER USED!!

horrible tape
Bought recently and when taking it down it took the paint off my nicely painted walls. The tape is horrible and now I have to fix my walls before I can finish the project.

No Clean Release for Me
I purchased Clean Release Painter's Tape to utilize as a tool to help me hang wall hooks. I very lightly applied the tape to the section of my wall where I was hanging the hook. When I very carefully and very slowly removed the tape, it scraped the paint off of my new construction home's primary bathroom wall in four places. Instead of having the seamless experience I've had with other painter's tape brands, I had to sand the wall and repaint it. The paint still doesn't match the wall's color and I'm stuck with four fluorescent-white patches on the main wall of the room. No clean release for me.

This tape is horrible. Does not come off easily after painting and took the finish off my kitchen cabinets.

NOT SO clean release painters tape
i just bought this specifically bc of the 'clean release' claim. i have pix from directly after removing the tape, showing the peeling that, sadly, your tape caused. i am so disappointed, cheap, no-name tape works better in this aspect

Not good
Do not recommend. I have never ever had this problem with any type of painter's tape. Ruined every piece of trim that I put it on including the side of our cabinet. should have went with the cheap tape, it would have worked so much better. Now all of this trim and the side of my cabinet is going to have to be replaced. This is not okay!

Poor quality
I use blue tape to hang my Christmas lights in the windows every year. Tried the Duck brand blue tape this year. Had to use 3 times as much as the other brands, even using the wider roll. Lights still continually fell down over 4 weeks and I had to keep adding additional tape to get it to hold for a few more days each time, until I finally gave up and pulled it all down. I now have an excessive amount of adhesive I have to clean off both the glass and the wood window frame where each piece of tape was applied. Will be going back to the other brand I have had success with in the past.

Hi there - we are sorry to hear that you had this issue with our painter's tape. This tape is meant to be used for painting and not meant to hold items in place. We would recommend using our Nano Grab Gel Tape for your application.

I bought this to paint my house with & it is the worst painters tape I’ve ever bought in my entire life. It doesn’t & wouldn’t even stick or stay stuck to my wall AT ALL.

Change in quality
Product quality has changed. I compared the rolls I bought 2 months ago to the rolls I bought this month. The tape used to be strong, stiff, and sticky. Now it is weak, flimsy, and less sticky. Very difficult to use. I will go back to buying the cheap stuff.

Worst tape I've ever used !
So brought this yesterday to get a clean edge paying the extra for something decent, what I got was a tape that has set me back 2 days by ripping all the paint off the wall back to bare plaster ! Thanks duckbrand for stating it can be used on delicate surfaces such as paint ! I now have to start all over again !

Terrible
Wanted to try the Clean Release version…this was the opposite. Ruined the paint job by pulling off the paint. On portions where the paint was not pulled off, very small little blue bits of tape remained under the white paint due edges of the tape NOT being clean. See photo. Do use!

Hi Kim, we are very sorry to hear about your experience using the Clean Release. The tape is best when removed before 14 days to remove cleanly.

Still peels off paint!
Everything I read said this was what was needed to not peel paint off my walls. ABSOLUTELY untrue!!! Just like scotch and 3 others I tried this too peeled the paint off my walls! 3 coats of kills primer on a new sanded drywall cured for 2 weeks and it STILL peeled the paint off my wall forcing me to redo all 4 walls in a room!!! Don't believe what they tell you this crap doesn't work! Now I have to return the remaining 2 rolls halfway across the country because I couldn't even get it here! Unless you want to paint sand and repaint a painted wall don't use this tape!

Don't use it on your car or boat
It don't say anywhere on the label that you can't use it with acrylic enamel auto body paint.. The glue from the tape came off and left it on my trim. Now I have to wash it off my trim with lacquer thinner or some kind of solvent and pray I don't get any on my new paint job. It's probably grate for house paint but I would recommend test it on anything else first.

Absolutely rubbish
Pulled off paint on emulsion walls under the tape not even on the joints. Now I have jagged edges. There are better own brand alternatives then this.
