Q: can you use it to wipe down painted walls and wood cabinets to get surface dirt and grime off?
A: Great question! Yes, the steam cleaner is excellent, to wipe down walls and cabinets. You can use the triangular tool and bonnet to do so. However, be careful with colorful paint. Some color may stick to the bonnet if the paint is water based. - Your Dupray team-

Q: Can I use this steamer to clean my carpet
A: Great question! You can refresh and deodorize small carpets and area rugs, but our steam cleaners are not large surface carpet cleaners or wall-to-wall extractors. They work better as spot cleaners, stain removers and area refreshers. -Your Dupray Team-

Q: Does the water tank have wheels?
A: Great question! Please note that the Neat steam cleaner does not have a water tank. The Neat steam cleaner only has a boiler, where you fill in the water directly. The unit has, however, wheels on the underside. -Your Dupray Team-

Q: Can it be used with a soap or just plain water all the time?
A: Great question! Please note, only water should be put inside the unit to prevent damage to the machine. We recommend using distilled or filtered water to avoid a fast calcium build up. The steam usually tackles the dirt. However, if you find some stains are harder to remove, you can spray detergent right on the area and then steam over it -Your Dupray Team-

Q: When using the steamer there tends to be a lot of water coming out and not just a light mist of a steam especially when using to clean floors. I have to come back with a dry mop to dry up the water. Is this a defect??
A: Hello, Great questions Please make sure not to overfill your machine. It is recommended to fill your boiler with 40 oz only. Thus, the steam will have enough room to form inside the boiler without pushing the water out. Generally, when starting the machine, the hose, and accessories are cold. The steam cools very quickly on contact with the air and will therefore condense inside the pipe Hence, it is normal, that the steam is watery for the first 3–4 seconds. After a few moments of use, the machine and accessories will become increasingly hot and the steam increasingly dry. Please note that the Neat does not have the option to adjust the steam pressure. For that reason the floor will always look wetter when comparing it to a steam mop, that has a lower pressure. -Your Dupray Team-

Q: How well does it work on removing pet urine smell in carpet?
A: Hi Great Question. Please note, steam cleaning is not ideal to remove pet urine smell from carpets due to the enzymes found in them. To remove pet urine, you need a specific chemical. -Your Dupray Support-

Q: How do you descale this steamer? Is there special liquid or white vinegar and water will suffice?
A: Hello, Great question! Please note, we have stopped recommending descaling our machines. Instead, it is best to use distilled water to prevent a fast calcium build up. If you still notice a scale build up, you could use a half an inch aquarium hose, to pump out the dirty water. -Your Dupray Team-
