Hoover Spotless Portable Carpet Cleaner FH11300

I have dogs (need I say more?). I saw the "Spotless" on sale and decided on a whim to buy it. It sat in my closet for at least 6 months. Last night we ended up with a huge mess on the carpet. It was late at night and I dreaded opening up the box and trying to figure everything out before I could even start the cleanup. This little machine exceeded my expectations on every level. It was a easier than easy to set up (the entire user manual is one sheet of paper - yay!). The machine did an amazing job of pulling up the entire stain (I had doubts) and the best news was just how easy it was to clean up afterwards. All the parts come off easily for rinsing out. This machine is worth every penny - especially if you want something that does an excellent job but doesn't take up an entire closet or if you have pets that you're constantly cleaning up after. Highly recommend. Full disclosure, I also own a full size Hoover carpet/floor cleaner and have owned various models of this for the past 30+ years. Other than a couple of years inbetween when the quality was not really up to expectations, I have always been a loyal customer.

Every one of these I’ve had starts leaking after being used a short time. So discouraging

It was great while it worked we used it all the time. Now the hose has snapped right at the handle and I’ve spent the last two hours searching online everywhere for a replacement with no options or solutions to make work. So now we are stuck having to buy a whole different product somewhere else. As all the other reviews having the same problem unless you want to end up buying a new one anyway just skip the purchase in the first place.

This seems to be a common problem with the Hoover Spotless. The filler cap cracked several months ago and today the hose split. This may possibly be normal wear and tear however these should be replaceable parts in order to keep small appliances out of the landfill. I’m very disappointed.

Bought this in July 2020. I bought this because I had my parents hoover carpet cleaner they bought in 1984. It was the bomb. Sadly the motor finally gave out in July 2020. I didn't hesitate I purchased what I thought was a still a great product. I the 6 years of ownership it's already leaking at the handle and the detergent cap is busted. I've probably used it less than 20 times. Can't get ahold of anyone so they can make it right. Shame on you hoover.

Used to be a good product. I had one before this that lasted for years. We purchased for our renters “just in case” in 2022. Our renters never opened it, so it was opened in 2024 when we moved in. So it’s out of the two-year warranty at that point. I used for about a year when the hose stopped working. Did the protocols for clearing the hose, added hot water, worked to clear air bubbles. An occasional drop-no spray. I finally called Hoover service to repeat the steps over the phone through phone and video communication. These are well-known issues and I was expecting a cure. But alas, I was offered service in Maryland (I live in VA), or a 10% discount on a new unit. They’ve just lost me as a customer… (they don’t seem proactive in keeping us!) 😉

I've had two of these and had nothing but problems. Terribly designed machine. The hose will eventually break and there is no way to replace that part. It should be an easy fix but it's not. It's made so you need to buy a whole new machine. Also the on/off switch will ebentually break. I was able to fix that part. NOT WORTH IT!!!

Stopped spraying after a few months,and the suction also failed even after cleaning

I have had my Hoover Spotless cleaner a for about a month now and it is working great. Everything I clean up comes up easily. The machine is so simple to use. I have bought plenty of Hoover products and each one has always been reliable. I would definitely recommend this product to any pet parents!

Worked well, for a while. The hose is garbage, and comes apart, as you’ll see if you read other reviews. For Hoover to ignore this defective part and not make it right is disqualifying. I will not purchase any other Hoover product. Additionally, the solution tank cap cracked, as I’ve also seen in other reviews. Shameful.

I would not recommend this product because it leaks from the bottom whenever I turn it on.

We just used it 3 times and it’s not working anymore. I either want a refund or a replacement or credit or fix it.

I loved this, it cleans so well. However finding out I can't replace broken or works parts seems so wasteful.

I can’t find replacement for the hose. The hose cracked at the handle. I wish they would sell replacements, cause I like the machine.

Bought this a few years ago. Worked great, but accidentally left it with some liquid in the clean liquid tank and got some mold. There are NO replacement tanks available. 5 stars for the machine. 1 star for lack of parts support.

This product burned out after 5 uses. I was in the middle of cleaning up a small mess on my carpet and the machine shut off and I immediately smelled something burning. Such a waste of money. Buy a Bissell!!!

The hose attachment ripped and there's no replacement for it. I also had another issue with their carpet cleaner. The water leaked and ruined my hardwood floors.

I just bought this machine and wasn’t even able to get a single use out of it. Sprayer doesn’t spray cleaner, the suction feels like it might be decent if the sprayer worked.
