Do NOT waste your money in this devise! I have trouble shot, cleaned, wiped, reset to factory default, replaced batteries with brand new ones and still it will not print! I continually get Tape Jam! Error I have wasted $$$$ buying brand new tape with no resolve! DO NOT, REPEAT DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DEVICE!

Don’t Waste Your Money

Purchased yesterday, opened today and loaded brand new batteries in it. Paper jams right away. After multiple attempts, I gave up. I wish I would have read the reviews before I bought it because they all say the same thing. Can’t return it because the packaging is open. Garbage product and waste of money.

Hello, this is Tarun from DYMO Consumer Care. Thank you for providing your feedback for the LetraTag 100H. We apologize our products have not met your expectations. We would be very happy to assist you in resolving any issues with our products. If a LetraTag device shows you a “Label Jam!” message it may mean three things. First, you have got a physical label jam in your printer. Please open the cassette compartment and make sure that the roller on one of the walls of the machine is black. If it is not, please use tweezers to remove the jam. Second, the power is low – replace the batteries with brand new ones. Third, the device needs a factory reset. In order to reset your device to factory settings, please follow the steps: Turn the device off. Press the following three buttons simultaneously: numlock + 9 + on/off (press and hold first two keys and then press third one). You should see the words “Erasing” appear on the screen if the step was done correctly. The device has now been reset to factory settings. If you are still having issues with your printer, please do not hesitate to give our technical support team a call at 877-724-8324 Monday to Friday 9am-5pm EST as we will be happy to assist you. Please use the reference number 26293868. You can also use the ‘Contact us’ option under the support tab on the DYMO website.

"Tape Jam" Errors Common

Thought I'd write this review since I'm pretty sure I bought this label maker based on the half-way decent rating of 4.3/5 stars. Like a few people on here and even more on the manufacturer's own website, straight out of the box I've gotten nothing but the !Tape Jam! error. I have tried all of the solutions they've posted--it's brand new, so there is no ACTUAL tape jam; the batteries are also brand new, but I tried another set just for fun; and I've tried the factory reset numerous times, to no avail. UGH! They do have a limited warranty so they should replace the unit, but this seems to be a common problem that you may just want to avoid altogether if you still can.

Bad print/label quality

Has never worked properly. The print quality is so poor (constantly seems to be out of ink) that it is not even good enough for home use. I have these sad looking labels attached to different things and every time I see one I am thinking "remember to buy a new label writer".

I bought this today and every time i try printing something, the top half of the words are cut off. What a waste of money! Im not saying its not affordable but lower your prices if you're going to make such poor quality products.

This is a great little label maker. I haven’t had any problems. I put 4 batteries in and works awesome. Easy set up. It has a symbols. No paper jams. It cuts great & perfect to organize.

LCD Screen doesn't last. Poor build quality

Have had this device a little while, it's definitely out of warranty, but I've barely used it. Maybe a handful of time and when I went to go use it today that LCD screen is barely readable. Most of the letter are faded or not visible. Tried new batteries, nothing. What a piece of junk. Garbage. Definitely looking for another brand next time
