Q: Does the label come off of objects easy after its been placed or is it difficult to remove?

A: It's pretty removable on plastic, but won't stick if it's an oily plastic (for obvious reasons). If you leave it on for a long time and there are temperature and humidity settings, it can sometimes leave the bottom layer behind, but I find that's usually not the case. I don't have much experience putting these on non-plastic surfaces.

Rip Off
This is the worst piece of equipment I have ever had. I bought this about a year and a half ago. I was the only person that has used this label machine. One morning I woke up and tried to use it and it started saying "Tape Jam." I tried all the technical support, help, inquires and all trouble shoot issues and it never worked. Since it passed the time, I called the company. It was the worst thing ever. They gave no help at all and then they said " that is something that just happens. At this point when I asked them for some help, they told me the only thing they can do as a one time courtesy is give me "20% off" my next LetraTag label Maker. On top of that the 20% is to buy it off of their website in which they are selling it for 2x the price that Target has it for! This machine is a rip off, Dont get it. I dont normally leave reviews but because of how poorly I was treated, I am leaving this review! Do not buy this, once again, dont buy it. You are better off handwriting or getting another brand. Dont buy from this brand.

Simple and easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this label maker overall. It’s super simple and easy to use! Print quality is nice and it gets the job done without any hassle! It doesn’t have a ton of features and I do wish the alphabet layout was more like a keyboard.. it would make typing faster and more intuitive. If you’re looking for something basic, straightforward and easy to use, this is a great option.

Stopped Working

Nice-looking labels but they don't stick.
This device is handy and easy to use and it prints nice-looking labels with a variety of options for size and font, but the labels don't stick well -- most of mine started to peel off almost immediately, and I was placing them on flat, smooth surfaces of plastic or metal. Other labels have stuck easily.

Works well, label cassette is hidden in box packaging
Works well for the price. As others have said, it does not have super strong adhesive. A few people mentioned that it didn’t come with labels - actually it’s kind of hidden inside the cardboard piece that sits above the label maker itself. No idea why they chose to do it that way. For those having trouble peeling off the backing of the label, it’s actually split horizontally so if you gently fold the label, it splits and is easy to peel off. I tried to take photos to show both of these things.
