Dyson Purifier Cool PC2 De-NOx

I purchased the purifier to determine what is the nature of the odors I have been encountering in my residence. The odors are intermittent and often clear with several standing fans set at high speeds. I have been having symptoms of headaches, fatigue, and brain fog. Occasionally there is a sulfur odor, but more often an odor similar to dry cleaning odors, but a little more “earthy”. The Dyson purifier has been placed in my bedroom for two weeks now. I am getting data showing moderately poor air quality and moderate to high volatile organic compounds readings. While this is nonspecific as to the actual agents in the VOCs, it has assisted me greatly in my efforts to determine the sources of the unusual odors.

Fan is very weak even at its highest level. Anything between level 5-10 is extremely loud. Dyson return has been the worst experience I have ever. 2 weeks and 4 phone calls later, still no return label. Do not buy direct from Dyson!

For the last few years I found I was always congested and could never properly breathe through my nose which was depressing and cloister phobic. After using this product for a few days I realized can now breathe properly! My spirits have been lifted.

LOVE this! We hate AC, so we use fans, but still...it's hot here in La. So I bought this fan and purifier and am so happy. The flow of air is moving throughout the house. MUCH cooler and now I can see how the smoker roomie, is making the air not so good. I also love the app. I can change it to sleep mode from bed or set the schedule. I know I paid A LOT for this product and since it's arrived, each day is spent, with time appreciating this fan. So much so, that I may consider another one, when my old AM03 dies. BUT WHY did you discontinue that fan?? Pedestal Fan AM 03 is BEST! Can raise it UP and bend it over.... SO, as happy as I am with this fan...I REALLY wish I could find a NEW AMO3! Or refurbished. NONE of the new products with Dyson are quite as good as that one. ALSO, it's less than a month since I got this new fan, and the filter says it's already at 90%???? How is it supposed to last a year?? Gosh, my place must be filthy. FAN Guilt is real.

Very less air flow compare to other products in the market for much cheaper prices.. Overall I would not spend that much money on this product.

We closed in our porch after painting it with outdoor paint and it smelled of formaldehyde. The Dyson De-NOx purifier took all the smell out and brought the levels down to green. It is so nice to go out in the porch now with its fresh smell!

I found the fan to be super quiet and I really like the air quality monitoring I can do from my phone. With the wildfires burning up north, I was wondering what kind of air quality I had indoors. We live in a location that throughout the spring, Summer and Fall, has near constant high allergy warnings for multiple types of pollen and other allergens. With the use of this machine, we no longer have issues inside our home that precipitate sneezing and other reactions to the multiple types of pollen present in our Middle Tennessee location.

It makes an especially noticeable difference in the basement, and is also great at filtering out the spring time pollen. It is easy to operate with the app or the remote, and has multiple speeds and modes so it can be customized for the job you are doing with it.

I didn't really notice the effects of it until I placed it near a vent where cigarette smoke was coming through. The filter really helped cut down the infiltrating smoke! Another feature I like about this machine is that the airflow is reversible, if you do not want to use it as a fan, you the air can blow backwards. I also own a generation 1 tower fan, I am glad that the plastic is no longer made from that soft/rubbery like material that degrades over time

But now, when I set it to auto, the fan speed increases, cleaning the air and eliminating the smell from the room. I love the app’s design and how user-friendly it is. I’m glad I bought this product, especially since I have a newborn who now sleeps in his crib in our bedroom, right next to the fan. I know he’s breathing in clean and fresh air.

Range of the machine is very nice it covers the whole room or only a specific area. It looks fancy. I live in an apartment and the air quality is much better when the fan is running. The filter works great.

Will love to see how the new filtration will perform in the future long term. The cooling fan can be felt from across the living room at high speed and it wasn’t even maxed out. The noise level of the fan was definitely quieter than my Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Gen 1 HP10. Love the color way and design of my new purifier. This will be a great asset for my living room space.
