    Very nice. So glad to have my Dyson Air Purifier

    I received my Dyson Air Purifier/ Humidifier as a tenure gift from my employer. I’ve had it about 7 weeks and very happy with my selection. I use it in my small 10x10 bedroom and it makes the room significantly cooler and the air fresher. It is very quiet and does not bother my sleeping at all. I did have some concerns with the humidifier not working, but after a little online research I didn’t have the humidity setting high enough. After changing the setting the humidifier functionality has worked great. One last comment I really like the easy to use app and the remote control. It’s been a great gift.

    I have owned this less than two months and I now have to take it in for service for the third time. All for the humidifier function not working. It is currently sitting on my table broken because it’s an hour round-trip just to take it to the service center

    Software needs upgrade or I need engineering deg

    I cannot master the software. Cannot tell what settings are or what some of the remote buttons do. I cannot read the little screen or understand the symbols that pop up within seconds after the written words come up.

    Nice Humidifier, Very Expensive, Pump Fails Often

    This is a very nice, very expensive humidifier, filter, and fan. Although it apparently does a lot of things for the air inside our home, the primary reason we bought this was for humidification and the reliable Dyson quality. The first unit failed within about 2 weeks, but the big box store replaced it with a new one. The remote control and app are well done, the unit works nicely, is easy to fill, has a decent sized water reservoir, and the controls offer options like oscillating airflow, air quality reporting, fan speed, and humidity control. It is very quiet at low speeds, and still pleasant at full airflow. I really don't trust the cheap cool mist humidifiers, so we went with this one to be sure that the air we breathe is in good shape. I don't know of another unit as well featured and reputable, and I like this unit a lot, but at this price point, it really needs to check a lot of boxes. *Update - I have replaced the unit twice now, each failing in the first 2-3 weeks with a pump failure. Hope to work through the quality issues.

    Love it

    Bought this a month ago and it definitely helps with my sleep and my nose. As someone who have consistent nose bleeds during my sleep, the humidifier helps with my nose and sleep. I love it. I only have it 4 stars because of the price. Then again, health is wealth and this investment is worth my health.

    could be great, but isn't

    i have had two now and when they are actually working correctly they are awesome. the problem is they don't seem to consistently work well and have frequent pump failures. the current one i am using worked well for less than a week, then pump failed. i received a new pump and now it technically works, but it not able to keep the humidity level up like it should. disappointing , especially considering the price.

    Amazing, and even Doctor recommended

    This is actually our second one (we had to buy it since the first one was used so much that it literally died on us). Not only is this device amazing, but even out doctor loves that we have it, considering the area that we live in has a high pollution level, and this is perfect for that. We use it at night to help us with our sleeping, and with the humidifier part, it keeps the air right the way that it should be so that we're not chocking on the dust in the air. It's just perfect

    Amazing machines

    I have had allergies my whole life. 15 years ago my daughter was diagnosed with almost every allergy I had had and asthma as well. There wasn’t a product out there other than putting your head over a hot bowl of water with a towel to try and help you breath. Then my son, (now just about 6 months old) was diagnosed having allergies. The dr recommended us to get him an air purifier for his room to help him breath during sleep. So being told we needed something for him, and technology being as good as it is we stopped on this product. Air filtration hepa filtration and also a cold mist humidifier all in one. So we tried it out for him but decided to get 3 together for our upstairs bedrooms. We could tell a huge difference in how clean the air smelt as well as how it has helped with other allergies too. Less snoring too. I immediately went back online to get two more for the downstairs. It also throws out some cooling air as well. We love our Dyson humidifier purifiers. They helped keep our baby healthy and also help the rest of us sleep and breath so much better

    Good at filtration, not for humidity

    It definitely detects harmful chemicals, and I think adequately removes them, but mine doesn’t do an efficient job of humidifying the room. It’s a medium sized NYC apartment bedroom and I keep the doors only slightly open. Yet after a full day of having the fan speed on at least 6/10, and of course having the humidity target well above the current level, the detected humidity level doesn’t rise. It also becomes significantly audible on any speed I’d say more than 4/10.

    4th purchase of same machine

    This is the fourth Dyson air purifier I purchased. Three of them were the now discontinued PH04 so this one is the closest to it. Very happy with it. Was doing some renovations, and it immediately kicked into high gear when it recognized the fumes and dust. It cleared up the room fast!

    Looks great but very easy to break.

    I want to love this humidifier like I loved all things Dyson. Alas, I can’t bring myself to write a great review. It is so finicky. You need to be careful how you fill it or it stop working. If you remove the wet filet wrong it will stop working. If you clean it wrong it will stop working. No Dyson product should be this hard to use.

    Not an ideal combo

    The Humidification is very noisy, when on Auto. The effect is much slower than with a regular humidifier. Since the air is being filtered, I give it two extra points than if I had to rate the humidification, only. Great air filter, great blower, mediocre humidifier.
