I’ve had the Big & Quiet about a month. It works great

Underwhelming performance - air output isn’t adequate

Bought 2 of these for 2 separate bedrooms. Was reluctant to go with Dyson after really bad experience with their PH03 purifier humidifier (multiple replacements and finally just sent everything back to them and got something else) . These new purifiers are big but really effective, very quiet and sort of attractive. Seem well-designed (as opposed to the PH03 units). Would recommend. Not cheap though. You pay the Dyson Premium.

I bought this machine few weeks ago and the air blew out damp smell for a week so I took it to the dyson repair centre but once it delivered back to me it has scratches on the machine and also the smell still remains until now, I am waiting for a new machine replacement.

I bought a new purifier to replace a Dyson TP04. I really like its design, the lack of noise compared to the TP04, and its ability to project a breeze across a 49 m2 lounge room on a relatively low setting. I didn’t realise before purchase that it doesn’t have an oscillating fan setting like the TP04. While I was initially disappointed by the lack of this feature, its fan spread is definitely superior to my old purifier so I won’t mark-it-down for this reason. I accept that this new machine might, in comparison to the TP04, have a more sensitive sensor that is calibrated differently. Notwithstanding, the new machine has been displaying unexplainably high ‘VOC’ sensor readings which mostly don’t return to the ideal ‘green’ zone; even after running the machine for a protracted 2-3 hour period. Unplugging the machine, or resetting the sensor, is generally the only way the machine will return to green in this circumstance. I’m starting to suspect my machine has a sensor fault, particularly given I have a Dyson TP04 as a point of comparison. I’m in the process of the following the advice on the website to remediate the issue. It’s frustrating having to do this with a new machine. If I can get this sorted without a return then my rating will increase to four stars.

I bought this a month ago and I’m glad I did. It arrived promptly and was pretty easy to setup. I love the look of it too. But mostly I like knowing the air quality in my apartment is good.

Mostly excellent, but a couple of flaws that you would expect a company like Dyson to have thought about and fixed. First, let’s talk about cord storage for excess power cord length. My toaster has it, nespresso coffee machines have it, my iron has it. C’mon dyson it’s 2025. You’ve got a giant base full of air, how did none of your nerds come up with the idea to store excess cord inside the machine, rather than leaving a tangled mess outside, Next, no smart home ecosystem. Again, 2025. Matter is becoming mainstream, and Dyson are still locked in to a proprietary closed version of MQTT that only their app seems to support officially. Finally, control buttons. I have cats. top mounted buttons and cats just don’t mix. Give me a way to lock out the controls inside the app please?

I LOVE my Dyson Air Purifier! It has tremendously helped my allergies/asthma! I will definitely be purchasing another one in the near future! It is a life saver and I highly recommend it!

I bought this after the LA fires and I’m so glad that I did. I have this one and the slightly less expensive one which doesn’t have the app. I have to say the app makes a big difference and I love being able to see that the air is clean for my family. It’s quiet and chic and I highly recommend it.

Moved into new house and bought it for formaldehyde, I like the design and that it is portable. The machine allows me to use Bluetooth to turn on and off the fan at anytime I like, digital panel to give me reading regarding air quality in my room. The only down is the magnet to the fan is weak, kept dropping off from the machine if we didn’t stick it correctly or with children around

I love the air purifier too much. The only drawback is that the lights on the main panel can't be turned off, and the lights are very bright at night.

This is an excellent product . I have really bad allergies as I live in Las Vegas . There is much wind and construction and lots of stuff in the air. I am constantly sniffling. This unit has helped a lot .

Our 2nd one for our home and we wanted one for the basement

The Dyson air purifier I purchased is incredibly convenient to use because it can be set to automatic mode. It adjusts itself based on the air quality, providing effortless and efficient purification without requiring constant attention.

I bought for myself for Christmas because I have asthma and I’m highly sensitive to some candles emitting toxins as well as other indoor air pollutants. The product is so quiet and really freshens the indoor air. When the outside temperatures are too cold to open windows to let the fresh air in and bad air out, the Dyson Purifier Big+ Quiet Formaldehyde will make the indoor air just as fresh. I have it in my great room with the living/dining/kitchen where I spend most of my time and it is completely undetectable while running on the auto setting except for the appearance of a robot looking upward. 😁

It’s amazing I have 3 Dyson fans but BP04 is the best one covered quite a big area bought it in November last year happy with that

Excellent unit as you would expect from Dyson. All the right feature features, performs exactly as described. The replacement filters don’t appear to be cost prohibitive. Could always do with a slightly lesser price point, however

4 month and i running 24-7-365. well worth every penny
