Glossy Lip Stains - 4 Shades
Absolutely beautiful color selection. For daily use these glossy lip stains work for me. I love color but I hate that most glosses as soon as it’s wiped off the color is gone. These have great pigment and leave a lovely stain color. The options have a natural pinky/mauve shades for all lips. A great value too for this gloss set.

I love this product. I received it for free in exchange for this review. I think the shades and the texture are phenomenal. I appreciate that there is no smell and that it does not leave a taste in your mouth. The shades are quite neutral and very wearable. This would make a great gift and I think most people could benefit from the shade.

Beautiful colors
The package was very nice that this lip stain came in. When I first looked at the colors I wasnt sure if I was going to like the way they looked but after trying them I was pleasantly surprised. The color last most of the day and I didnt have any problems with smudging. I appreciate the quality of this product and the variety of colors. I can wear them on dates or casual outtings I feel like they add to any look. I got this item as a promotional offer but my opinion is my own.

I liked 2 of them more than the other 2, the Spicy Sienna & Grape Escape were my favorite. The other 2 were very pretty as well on me, however, it took a bit much to bring the color out, whereas the other 2 didn't require much gloss at all! The colors on ALL are absolutely gorgeous! If I had any complaint, it would have to be the texture, it was kind of waxy like, for all of them. I will keep using them, though, I can't get over the colors, how they make my lips pop more! Definitely recommend trying!

I received this lip kit compliments of ELF and the colors are beautiful. My favorite is the Maple Drizzle which is a kit exclusive color along with Grape Escape. These lipsticks start out as a gloss and dry into a nice lip stain. They’re comfortable on and transfer resistant as well. Each kit includes four different shades that are perfect for the fall to winter season including Pinkies Up, Spicy Sienna, Maple Drizzle and Grape Escape.

Love these!!
I love these stains! The applications are easy, it feels smooth on the lips, and has great pigment. I left them on for around 5 minutes and then blotted it off and left such a nice tint afterwards. They didn’t cling to imperfections on the lips as some of the others do. I was expecting this kit to be more dark and mauve like, but they do pull pretty red.

I’m so impressed at how affordable but good quality these stains are. They don’t dry my lips out like so many other stains and are so good at making them look hydrated and glossy and the color really lasts all day so you can always just touch up with a clear gloss or balm as needed. These lip stains are absolutely gorgeous! The gloss lasts about an hour for me, but the stain lasts at least 4-5. Each stain leaves a nice, but different shade on your lips and they are very comfortable.

Perfect Wash of Color
Was excited to try this sample, hoping they'd be an all-in-one replacement for my previous trick of using a stain with a top layer of gloss. First, these are buildable color, but shuld be used if you're looking for a more sheer, soft-matte stain, with a mousse like texture. they give a pretty and soft shine that fades after a short while. They are true stains, so comfortable, relatively long-lasting, and transfer-resistant. What I liked was the sheer color paired with such a subtle hint of sheen, just wish they lasted through the day. Overall-- recommend for a very pretty soft wash of color!

Great as a gloss, ok as a tint
I got this set and tried it out. As a gloss I really like it. Like elf’s regular glosses, these are scent and flavor free, which I absolutely love. They go on more watery than your average gloss, but still feel hydrating. You have to put in a bit of effort to get the darker shades to sit evenly on your lips and not be kind of patchy, especially if you are pale. The packaging says you can also wear it like a lipstick where you layer it to be opaque but I wouldn’t recommend this because it looks pretty patchy and messy with multiple layers. The color sits in the creases of your lips and clings to dryness. As a gloss I really liked these though. With the darker shades you need to use a lipliner on lighter skin tones or it will look messy. The lightest shade you don’t need one for though. I think as a lip tint I really like them too. They tint your lips fast and are pretty vibrant. I think these are great for the holidays.

e.l.f. Cosmetics didn’t disappoint again! I absolutely love this kit , it has all the shades I need for any makeup look, outfit, or occasion. The formula is amazing, I’ve always loved lip stains, but not the dry look they usually leave. These are totally different glossy, soft, and make my lips look full and hydrated. The pigmentation is super rich and lasts a really long time even after I wipe it off, the color still stays (which I love!). It’s the perfect combo of a satin, soft-gloss finish with the staying power of a true lip stain. The packaging is sleek and compact, perfect for small purses or travel. And honestly, the price can’t be beat for this kind of quality. I’m not using any other lip stain anymore these are definitely my new go-tos!
