Q: What are the inactive ingredients? Just the same as deBrox?

A: The label says, "Compare to active ingredient in Debrox drops." The active ingredient, carbamide peroxide, is the same. The inactive ingredients, seen on the Target and Debrox websites, are different.

A: Hi LilBit - Thanks for checking out this Earwax Removal Kit from Up&Up! The liquid safely removes excessive earwax through the power of microfoam cleansing action. When drops are placed in the ear, oxygen is released allowing it to foam as it gently softens and loosens earwax. Once broken down, earwax is able to naturally drain from the ear. The sustained microfoam cleansing action may make mild bubbling or crackling sounds. This is not cause for alarm and is evidence it's working hard inside your ear. It works. I pretty much lost hearing completely in my right ear due to me using a qtip to clean my ear wax and just pushing it in further. I followed the directions for three days, using this product twice a day. It really didn’t improve much and I was getting ready to switch to something else. Then on the fourth morning, boom, it was perfect. All better. So yea, it worked for me. Not immediately though. I recommend also flushing your ear, maybe in the sink or shower. I think this helped.

While this generic ear cleaner has the same active ingredient as Debrox, it does not work half as well as Debrox. I don't feel the same cleaning action in my ears with this generic, nor do I see as much earwax removal when rinsing out. Just buy Debrox, even if you now have to buy a syringe on every repurchase.

I was surprised to see the expiration date of 2/2021 when I opened the package this morning. I am finding that curb pick-up, while convenient and safe, one relies on the employee choosing the product from the shelf. If the department manager didn't pull expired products, the employee may not see it. I am disappointed. Otherwise curb-side service is much appreciated and Target is a great store.

STAY AWAY from this product! I literally wound up in the ER with excruciating ear pain a few hours after using - wish I had read the other reviews first. Target needs to take this off of the shelves.
Buy this as a refill, or else you will pay for it in pain.

You should *not* buy this on its own. While target should mention it on the packaging and on the listing of the product, this is only a refill. You need to initially buy the kit that has the bulb for rinsing out your ear. I repeat this will only work as a refill, do not use this on its own it will burn and you will only blame the company. You have been warned. This product will only work fantastically if you already have the rinsing tool.

This is only the solution so a refill for the kit. You need the bulb syringe to rinse out your ears after use. It was works well if you rinse your ears after using the drops. Much gentler and more effective than making your own with hydrogen peroxide.
