Very good read. Love the voice and writing. It can be gut wrenching at times. Reminds me of “the glass castle”

Tara is absolutely inspiring.
I loved this book! Tara is absolutely inspiring. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, could not put it down! It definitely incited self reflection. I’m glad I read it as I ponder graduate school. I recommend to anyone who works in education or anyone thinking about their education.

Buy It! You won't be sorry!
My Boss let me borrow this book from her and at first I wasn't sure it was my speed. However, once I started reading I honestly couldn't put it down. Tara's story is intriguing and keep my attention. There were so many moments that made you argue, happy, sad and relieved! This book is a must buy!!!!!!!!

Story of determination and struggle rewarded.
Good book. Ordered it from Target then picked it up same day at a local Target store. This was a book club read. There were lots of discussion topics in Educated.

From survive to thrive
Tara Westover delivers an amazing read here, as she recounts her struggles with escaping fundamentalism and assimilating into the world of academia and the world at large. It often boggles the mind that this young woman was able to write a novel about her life, let alone to have even survived to have told the tale at all.
