Q: What's the max amount of players?
submitted by Lossalou - 1 year ago
A: Thank you for reaching out. There really is not a maximum amount of players. However, we recommend 10 players divided into two teams. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out on our site under the “contact us” page and we would be happy to help answer any.

I wanted a game that we could all play together and that is exactly what I got with Spindoodle! Super easy set up, just requires batteries, easy to read and follow instructions. It is a game for 4 or more players, but we were able to adapt it so just 3 of us could play. We had great fun playing, lots of laughter. I could see this being just as successful with just adults playing. My six year old loves it and we all found our drawings amusing. The rubber is on the end of the pen, so you don't lose it, but does only come with one pen. I think it would benefit from having a small cleaning kit as after a while the dry erase marker builds up. It all fits back in the box which makes keeping it together and storage easy. The cards with the categories on are clear and robust, there are some American words which younger children might need help with. We really enjoyed playing this and will be playing regularly as you can play to the length of time you have available.

I wanted a game that would encourage my children to work together. This game did just that. They split into two teams, with myself helping the youngest player who was five. The aim is to roll the dice which determines your category. One player in a team then selects a card and draws the category they landed on. The drawing board spins and the player decides the number of points to play for. The points are determined by the speed of the drawing board. Which spins at three different speeds. The winner can be from either team, depending on who can guess the picture being drawn first. To make the game easier the drawer could select from any category they choose. As some are more tricky than others. A fun game that gets the whole family together!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spin Doddle is a fun twist on a favorite classic. it was difficult for the younger children to draw pictures while the board spun but the older kids enjoyed it and enjoyed watching the silly pictures the other team drew and it was a lot of fun and a lot of laughs.

This is a unique game and quite hilarious! If you like Pictionary, this is taking it to the next level on a spinning board! It's a great family game to play during these strange quarantine times.

My kids are 8, 11 and 13 and they enjoyed this game. There are 2 difficulty levels of clues. We played the "easy" side of the cards. The game is similar to other drawing games where one person draws for the other members of his/her team. This game adds the flare of drawing on a spinning disc. The faster it spins, the more points your team gets for a correct guess. It's a challenge but a fun challenge! We had lots of laughs when we had to try draw at "impossible" speed. My kids surprised me being able to successfully draw a car complete with a driver while the board was spinning but the drawing of a hammer got the best of all of us. Good game. Great gift idea.
Great for family game night!

It was a little hard to figure out how to draw while it was spinning, but that was part of the fun! There were lots of laughs. My 9 year old likes to bring out the game so she can just draw and practice. It's a great for family game night!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The concept of this game seems very fun, and it was fun but it was also really hard. I know it's supposed to be challenging but it was super hard to draw anything even on the slowest setting. Not only could my 6 year old not draw on it but neither could myself or my husband. It's pretty hard. Maybe with more practice it will get easier. I only took off one star for that because overall I think it would be a really cool, fun game!! We laughed the whole time even though we couldn't get anywhere near what needed drawn. Creates great laughs!!
FUN! BEST game that we have played in a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is extremely entertaining because it puts everyone on pretty much a level and dizzy drawing field.
Our family loves games of all kinds, and I think with a couple tweaks this will become one of our favorites.
First, drawing on a spinning board is HARD, haha! It's mind-bending and takes a while to get used to. I'll just say, your first game everything is going to look like a bunch of mutant scribbles. After getting the hang of drawing in motion, eventually it'll look like regular scribbles. Fortunately, most of the clues are relatively simple.
The scoring system is such that the faster you make the board spin, the more points you'll score (between 1-4). I consider myself a pretty accomplished doodler, but I was struggling to turn out something recognizable most of the time, even on the lowest setting. My suggested tweak (which helps the kids have more fun) is to start the scoring (1 pt) on a non- spinning board. I know the whole game concept is to draw pictures while spinning; but my daughters (both 12) were getting frustrated because we just couldn't decipher what they were trying to draw. It took a while to finish a game because there were so many rounds that went with zero score. I feel like giving the option of a low score for a stationary board and a higher one for spinning would help the game pace a lot.
On the other hand, I also would have liked about twice as much sand in the timer- the time to draw goes by SO fast!
It was all very fun still and there was tons and tons of laughter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I played this game with my neice and nephews and they had a lot of fun and laughs trying to be artists. I think it's a creative way to get kids thinking while playing a game and you have to be quick and coordinated to draw as it spins. The markers are nice and the drawing board is good quality.
