Description
In 1911, Miguel Martinez left Mexico and settled in Dallas. Four years later he met and married Faustina Porras and together they had eight children. In 1916, he opened Martinez Cafe, which began serving what would become known as Tex-Mex by the time the restaurant changed names to El Fenix two years later.The original Tex-Mex salsa. Delicious on eggs, steak, chicken, in soups and gumbos, in all kinds of dips or whenever you want to spice up your food. Refrigerate after opening.

Spicy enough to use on tacos, tostadas, taquitos, mix with guacamole or cream cheese, add more tomatoes for a less spicy snack! Blend for a smooth texture without sacrificing flavor. Only wish the jar was bigger.

I hope Target continues to carry this line of salsa. It's rich, spicy and delicious. I get 6 jars at a time because I go through two jars a week. To me, salsa is a vegetable and this one is very good.
