A: Bottom of ours measures 6", measured it twice! Bowl definitely NOT top heavy, even when completely filled with water. Hope this helps!

A: Not sure on size for replacing but what we have done is use a glass or ceramic bowl and just put inside the stainless one that comes with. This way there is always a clean and safe bowl.

Q: Can you tell me what grade this stainless steal is? I want to make sure it is food grade/safe. I have seen that 14-18% chromium or 304 and 316 stainless steal is what is considered food grade.

I really like these dog bowls for water! I have a short 20 pound dog and these are the perfect height for her. She used to drink water from a bowl on the floor but would always burp / have indigestion. These bowls also can hold a large amount of water so I only need to fill it up once a day. I also like the removable inner stainless steel bowl. It repels bacteria and can be easily washed. The beige color I think is also a neutral look that blends in with any color scheme.

Purchased this and the other, less capacity,, bowl. Turns out that this, although a bit too large for our dog who likes small kibble food and eats one cup per feeding... Because this stand is truly 6" High, it is much better than the shorter oval version. Our dog could tip the oval version by just licking that bowl, but this bowl, he has yet to do it. So this larger and taller bowl, is definitely more sturdy!

Not quite what I was looking for in regard to size. Yes I reviewed to specs, need something a little bigger for my dog. Wish these were offered in 2 sizes. (small and large) It seems like stores more so cater to smaller breeds vs medium to larger breed dogs. Most of the time we must order pet products online a hope it’s to our liking. Oh and for those who do want to purchase I’d recommend if you’re able purchase in store.. for some reason the online price is a couple bucks higher on this verses in store. 🤨
