submitted byRena - 2 years agoTarget expert supportA: After utilizing the electronics cleaning compressed duster I'd suggest waiting a minimum of just ten minutes if everything goes well and the products you're cleaning do not appear wet or damp. When cleaning some smartphones I've accidentally used a little too much and it causes the short loved appearance of some moisture. The product evaporates nearly instantaneously unless you've applied it like I did and caused a small area of liquid to temporarily appear. Wait fifteen minutes if this happens as a general rule and if, for some odd reason, you're electronic device remains wet then you can use a clean paper towel for gentle absorption.

Q: This is compressed GAS? That's a bit scary - can this pose a potential fire hazard similar to the way Lithium-Ion battery products can? What is the safest way to store it so that it doesn't combust?

The Endust Duster 10-oz product usually contains difluoroethane; although some use tetrafluoroethane and tetrafluoropropene as a propellant. It is used to blow particles and dust from computers, keyboards, photography equipment, and electronics. If the can and valves are intact and undamaged, it will not leak or spoil, so can sit on a shelf for as long as 10 years. My problem is not with the item itself. It’s with the processing/ordering procedures, which includes rectifying a problem. When ordered I only received 2 of the initial 3 I requested which is fine as I know things are not always as available as they say. Unfortunately, since you can’t return the item in the app there’s also no way to request a refund of just one of the quantity number. There is an oversight and error on the part of the design of that restriction. I know you need a birthday to purchase this item, but you shouldn’t have any issues or there should be made an option of refund for something that didn’t arrive.

the propulsion method on this can just doesn't work - you can serendipitously get spurts of air but nothing with any reliability. And it didn't move the dust on my shelf or off the items on my shelf at all. In the end, I hand dusted it all with a dusting cloth.

Horrible residue on keyboard and terrible taste in the air. Doesn't work leaves film and somehow a horrible taste in my mouth that lingered enough that when another person entered the room they said they had a terrible taste in their mouth.

Canned air that pushes away dirt or anything gross from keyboards and cellphone ports. It's a little more expensive than from rival companies, but what can you expect for a brand. It's just pretty standard

Purchased this to clean out my dyson vaccums. It worked well for this purpose and I was shocked at how much dust had gotten stuck in the canister of my vacuums. Compared to other brands of compressed air I've used, this one lasted longer in terms of use before becoming too cold to operate. It was similar in force or spray power. The hose or nozzle kept coming disconnected when I was trying to use it, which was irritating but not the end of the world. Unsure if this is a product issue or speaks to the force of the air. I believe it would work well on a computer based on the weird areas in covered in my vaccums.

Nozzle is a bad design. After removing the tab the trigger does not depress the can nozzle enough to spray out a decent amount of air. If you finagle the trigger and mess about with it it will spray full pressure but it is not working properly.

Product is fine. The problem is that on 8-29-24, Target list the product at $6.99. It was $7.99 in the store- false advertising. Maybe that’s the reason there is more Target people stuffing shelves than there is customers. Target needs to drop prices.

All the bad reviews say that there’s no pressure but I buy this stuff monthly and I have for the past 2 years, I don’t even really believe in using this because people should be using something more sustainable but when it’s needed, it gets the job done. I think folks aren’t taking off the tab that releases the pressure initially that’s why they have low pressure because this works like any canned compressed air that’s been around for the past 20 years. Hope this helps.

I'm a resin artist. Dust and bugs are a constant menace to my work. Compressed air is necessary to make sure I keep my work environment clean and free of dust as much as possible. These cans of Endust make this possible.
