Q: how does it charge AAA? we know it charges AA but how does it charge AAA's??? do you understand me? AAA?

submitted by patrick - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi Patrick. Target answered perfectly, since the batteries are the same height, just different diameters, they both fit in this charger. For further information please call us at 1-800-383-7323 to assist you better.

  • A: BrianH is correct; there are separate bottom connections for the AA and AAA batteries.

submitted byLeeC - 1 year ago
  • A: AA and AAA are NOT the same height. From the pictures I have seen, it appears that there are separate contacts in each charging slot for both the AA and AAA batteries. So each slot can charge either a AA or an AAA, but in either case you'll need to charge in pairs.

submitted byBrianH - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi, patrick! Regarding your question about the Energizer Recharge Pro Charger for NiMH Rechargeable AA and AAA Batteries: AAA and AA batteries are the same height, and slip into the same spots that the AA batteries connect to for charging. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact MyTGTtech at 877-698-4883 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: How do you charge AAA batteries? Your first answer failed to tell me just how I stretch the AAA batteries or move the contacts so that they will touch.

submitted by Biffen - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi, Biffen! Regarding your question about the Energizer Recharge PRO Battery Charger (CHPROWB4): This product is plugged into the wall then rechargeable batteries are placed in the charger between the contacts to charge the batteries. Here is the manual as well, https://data.energizer.com/PDFs/CHPRO-instructions.pdf If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact MyTGTtech at 877-698-4883 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

  • A: Hi Biffen. Since AA and AAA batteries are the same length, you'll be able to plug the charger into the wall, then insert the batteries into the charger to recharge. For further information please call us at 1-800-383-7323 to assist you better.

  • A: Each charging slot has TWO negative contacts at different distances from the positive contact. The contacts are positioned in the slot so that the AA contact is higher than the AAA contact.

submitted byGY - 3 years ago
  • A: GY is correct - each bettery 'slot' has 2 negative (bottom) connectors at different depths and distances from the positive (top) connector. Each type fits well but at different angles in the charger.

submitted byLeeC - 1 year ago

Q: How do you charge AAA batteries? (They don't fit the holder.) Bought one of these and lost the instructions.

submitted by Biffen - 5 years ago
  • A: NOT the same length. The charger has 2 negative (bottom) clips at different distances and depths; the closer & deeper clip is for AAA batteries (shorter) and the more distant & higher is for AA.

submitted byLeeC - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Biffen. Since AA and AAA batteries are the same length, you'll be able to plug the charger into the wall, then insert the batteries into the charger to recharge. For further information please call us at 1-800-383-7323 to assist you better.

  • A: Hi, Biffen! Regarding your question about the Energizer Recharge PRO Battery Charger (CHPROWB4): Now you do need to be sure that these are rechargable AAA NiMH batteries and not standard ones, but they should just fit right in as AAA batteries are a form factor, it may seem small but so long as the positive and negative are touching the correct spots on this charger it should work. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact MyTGTtech at 877-698-4883 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

  • A: Wish you would take out the statements that AA and AAA batteries are the same length - THEY ARE NOT. the chargers handle both lengths, obviously. No "expert" would claim such a thing.

Q: I have read over 40 reviews and questions regarding this product. How many AAA batteries does this device comes with? Most "Fire Sticks"and remotes use AAA.

Takes longer than expected but it does charge. It’s faster to do two batteries at a time as opposed to all 4 together. Saves on batteries since I would need to use one a day for my classroom microphone

I ordered 5 as Christmas gifts, only 3 arrived. Called customer care and they must "submit a report" that takes 5-7 business days before deciding what to do. Now I must buy the remaining two before Christmas or even knowing if I'm going to be refunded.

Energizer batteries are good batteries. I don’t think that they are as good as Duracell but they are decent. A little cheaper then Duracell but don’t last as long.

The Energizer rechargeable batteries have worked out really well. They take a while to charge completely, 4-6 hours but they do last a long time. Comes in very handy for all the battery operated Christmas string lights, I was replacing batteries every month and now I can just recharge them. Great product, saves a ton of money on batteries.

They're an OK battery. I've had mine for maybe 4 months and the top of them peeled off and it doesn't want to charge anymore. They don't last as long as a normal energizer battery would. So for the price point I would just stick to the replaceable batteries

I ended up really liking this little charger! It charges both AA and AAA, and has light alerts that tell you at what amount of charge they have, Red, Yellow or Green. When they are fully charged the charger will start beeping to alert you. Seems to charge pretty quickly, and charges batteries of a different brand too.

It says it takes 3-5 hours to charge & the light goes out once done charging?? So wrong. Mine say they’re charged so fast & the green light never goes out & they lose battery so fast.
