Constipation is not the number of bowel movements your baby has each day. Constipation is infrequent movements that are firm stools that are hard for your baby to pass. They may come out in hard pellets, or cause pain or bleeding. Your child’s stools may change in number, color, and consistency when you change formula or feedings.
