Impossible to play. You have to hit the “ball” very hard and then it’s impossible to move the other player fast enough before it hits the other side. Most of the time the “ball” goes right back to the person who hit it. I kept thinking I set it up wrong because it doesn’t click together. Definitely a waste of money and I’m shocked to see any positive reviews.

Terrible
Mario and Luigi do not clock into place, so they are always coming off, it’s difficult to tap the thing hard enough to move the “ball”. Overall just frustrating to use for both kids and adults. Super disappointing and will be returning.

Not worth it
Kids had fun at first but this game was $35 and was cheaply made and only came with one “ball”. Once that got lost, the game was useless. I contacted the manufacturer for a replacement and it never came. Overall this is really overpriced for the quality. Wouldn’t recommend.

FUN!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Mario Rally Tennis is fun, our small children had a lot of fun playing, setting up took a bit to follow directions, playing it quite fun and simple. My kids would get competitive against each other. The design is a wonderful tabletop game, parts are movable, I recommend not to press too hard but it is really fun and neat to watch the table top Mario and Luigi play!

Super Fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys love super mario, so this is perfect. They jumped right into playing it as soon as they saw it. There are small pieces though. It took them a few minutes to figure it out, but they did it. It kept them busy for a while. Hope they go back to it at some point.

Nostalgia!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brought me back to the days of Mario Tennis on the Virtual Boy in 1994! The tiny tennis racket makes me want to sqeeeee! :) Definitely stick to the age recommendation of 5+. My barely 4 y/o was very frustrated with the game, but my 6 year old got much more into it.

The instructions are easy to understand and it's been so much fun for my entire family I highly recommend this game for a family game night.

The game construction is mediocre, and the fun factor is low. After assembly we played for about 3 minutes and felt like we've played all that we needed to.

The game is easy-to-assemble; it comes with a tennis court, two Super Mario figures, including Mario and Luigi, and two tennis balls. The detail on the action figures is perfect. By pressing the trigger, you can serve and volley. You can even keep an eye on your score with the scoreboard. Game night can get pretty intense with the whole family; we all get pretty obsessed with this game.

A lot of fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 5yr old has been bit by Mario-mania ever since the new movie came out. We love to encourage it because it is like passing down a piece of my own childhood. For that reason, for his birthday we picked up this Mario tennis kit and I couldn’t be happier with it. It looks great, is easy to set up, and is a blast to play. Whether or not we are trying to have a “competitive” match or he’s just letting his imagination run wild, he can play with this for hours on end. We definitely recommend this as fun for the whole family!
