Really loved the size of this mat. It’s super spacious and easy to roll up to hide away. I was iffy about buying it at first because I wasn’t sure how well it would do on carpet, but it’s actually super stable and I don’t feel like I’m sinking into the floor.

Great large mat. No horrible smell when taken out of package. I love the grip on the bottom.

In essence it is intended to be placed under fitness equipment. Depending on the equipment I would concur. For low impact cardio equipment like rowers, steppers, spin cycles and such it would work very well. For high impact equipment like treadmills or free weights like dumbbells or barbells it is best to use Stall Mats and they are three times as thick, very dense and made from recycled crumb rubber and will protect your foundation from the repeated pounding of treadmills or accidental (or intentional) drops of dumbbells or barbells. Where I deduct a star is in its performance as a yoga mat, which was the in the description and my main use. It is quite large, as much as a foot wider than typical yoga mats which typically are only two feet wide always leaving feeling constricted with a few fingers off the mat. No such problems with this mat as you can see from my photo. It is plenty dense but it is not comfortable by any means. The grip is excellent because of the texture which would serve well in keeping equipment in place and provide traction for higher speeds HITT type workouts. However during energetic faster yoga flows like vinyasa and ashtanga styles the texture feels very sharp when new and will leave your non-calloused areas elbows and knees very raw. This doesn’t seem to be as noticeable with slower flows and styles like Hatha. That being said, I’ve owned this for well over a year and with consistent use the sharpness of the traction has worn away. It is still there, but it doesn’t leave my elbows or knees nearly as red. I’ve since made this my main outdoor yoga mat and keep it outside in covered porch out of sunlight and it is very durable.

I absolutely love this mat! I have one under my peloton bike as well as in place of a yoga mat for working out. It is large and provides more room for movement than most yoga mats do. The quality is excellent and I say this due to the fact that my dog plays on it all of the time and you cannot tell by looking at it. I recommend this to all of my friends who think about setting up an at home workout space! This brand of exercise equipment never disappoints.

I needed a new Mat ASAP to keep doing my at home workouts. The mat I had before would slip and stretch during my workouts (cardio, HIIT, weights, body weight workouts) & I just happens to see this mat on my trip to target and it was just the size I was looking for. Rolled it out and it so high quality and sturdy , it will definitely keep up with my workout & for such a great price. I almost spent $100 on a smaller mat & this one basically covers the entire area I need to work out. 10/10 recommend

I wanted a mat to go under my treadmill to prevent it from slipping around on the hardwood. This does the trick and it a lot cheaper than the I locking fitness mats.

I like that this mat is thicker because I don’t have a lot of hard flooring to use in our home and the thickness made it work great on carpet.

I was super impressed with the quality of this mat. It's a bit too heavy to take to pilates classes, but it's wonderful to use at home. I've used it on hardwood, carpet, and carpet over concrete (basement), and I like how it doesn't shift and provides a bit of "squish" without being too cushy. The size is generously large enough to be able to stretch out comfortably, and it still rolls us easily enough to store. It doesn't have an odor like some mats, so I was able to use it straightaway. Would recommend!

I love how big this exercise mat is. Its just the right thickness. It protects your floors and is super easy to clean. It supports a variety of different weights. I think it would work as a fitness mat as well.

The mat is a little heavy at first but once I unrolled it and laid it down it was a nice size mat. I laid it flat and it was easy to set up my exercise equipment on it. It was large enough for me to do my exercises and stayed in place on the floor..

This product is bigger than I expected. I love the material. It seems very durable and that it will last a very long time. It is not slippery at all. I can move around perfectly while on it. Would highly recommend

This mat is a great quality. It is sturdy and thick and still rolls up well. It would be great to use under workout equipment like a rower or while you lift weights. It is extra big so I would not take it to a yoga class.

This mat is a nice size. I thought it was going to be too small to stretch out on, but it was a great size. The thickness was great to provide a smooth slip proof surface on top of carpet for my son to stretch and work out on. I was quite impressed with the quality.
