  • A: I have used Essie for 2+ decades and I can get way more then 4 to 5 manis from one bottle. Maybe they mean if done 4 to 5 coats on every finger and toe you'll get 4 to 5 mani/pedis, but even that seems like alot less then i get from a bottle. On a conservative side I'd say more like 10 total uses of 3 coats each digit full mani/pedis (i used to do this monthly with their sheer flesh color "high matience" for a few years, and I dont recall needing to buy new bottles excessively. )

  • A: Hey! Ive had my ballet slippers shade for about 6 months and its just now starting to get sticky. Ive probably done about 15 manis AND pedis because I always keep my toes and nails matching. Now I’m searching for another bottle/color so it will be fresh! hope this helps:)

Q: Why are the pictures not matching up with the essie nail colors? For example, "Clothing Optional" is supposed to be a rosey color but it shows up as gray. Want to make sure I'm ordering what I need.

    Chips Often

    I am not buying Essie again. I painted my nails and they looked great. Then I looked down in the car and they'd already chipped not an hour from the house. This was a new purchase. But I have another bottle, it also chips so easily im trying to do touch ups or removing it not even a day later!! Im not wasting my money and my time on this brand anymore.

    Would NOT recommend the white.

    I got the white marshmallow color expecting it to go on white. It took four coats of polish and even then, some parts of my natural nail showed through in streaks. It’s more of a white wash then a nail polish. I ended up throwing the rest away. Who has time to wait for four coats of nail polish to dry????

    Pretty white shade, but the formula is a bit patchy.

The good thing is that it comes off easily when you’re ready to remove it, but the application could definitely be smoother and more opaque.

    BLUE LIKE THE OCEAN...

    In general, ESSIE is one of my top three (3) favorites for lacquer nail polish. This color is amazing. The blue is deep, like the middle of the ocean. It is a go to at home for my toenails; easy to apply, and long lasting color/wear. Love It. :)
