The ice it makes are not typical but hollow and cylinder shape I thought they would melt very quickly but was surprised how they held up. The shape is why the ice can be ready in 0 15 minutes. Super cool! and ice maker.

Getting ice quickly
The ice cubes are kind of flimsy the first two cycles, We are pleased to be able to get ice fairly quickly and we store the cubes we don't use in the freezer. The reservoir holds about 6 cups of water and we can almost fill a 1 gallon zip lock bag. We have had the unit for about a month, think it was money well spent.
