Q: Does this product keep ice pretty well insulated? Or does ice have to be taken out often?
A: The ice melts after a while and remakes itself so as long as you leave the ice part on it will keep remaking ice when it gets low
submitted byie1234 - 2 months agoA: Hi there, our design features a specially enhanced insulation layer that significantly slows down the melting rate of the ice cubes compared to other ice makers. However, it’s important to note that if the ice cubes remain in the machine for an extended period, they will still gradually melt over time. To ensure the best preservation of your ice cubes, we recommend transferring them to your freezer for storage. This will help maintain their quality and keep them frozen for longer periods.

Q: how often is it recomended to clean the machine?
A: Hi there, to ensure optimal performance, we recommend running the cleaning program daily. It is also recommended that the water in the reservoir be changed every 24 hours to help reduce water hardness and minimize noise. Regular cleaning prevents scale bp, which can block the pump and cause the machine to malfunction. If you have any other inquiries, feel free to contact us at support@simzlife.com. Our machines are designed for efficiency, ensuring you have ice whenever you need it. However, if your ice requirements are more moderate, we recommend running the machine for a while to produce a sufficient amount of ice.
