A: No, it does not! I would have liked that option. This is an appliance that needs a water line as it comes in the box! At a retail of $499.99- I’d have paid $50-$75 more to get it with the “matching” tank. The stainless version on the GE website, comes with the tank at $579.00, granted I got this one on sale in the target store for $399.99, but it’s still nice. Target does not sell the tank online as of yet and GE doesn’t sell it in white on their website, since it’s a “target exclusive.” I’m assuming Target will sell it soon, but as this is a limited collaboration with Magnolia, it will probably be very limited stock, if they get it. I ordered this- the magnetic tank with the same model number but in stainless. It’s not ideal, but temporary until I get a water splicer for my fridge line. That will cost me another $75.00 in parts and $150.00 in labor too, but that’s a handyman job. A: No this one doesn’t come with the side tank

A: I hope so. 2 of the photos show it and the specs say it does too.

A: No it does not come with side tank which doesn’t make sense. Just include it and charge more instead of making someone have to search and then purchase. Tank is extra $69.99. This was a gift from my daughter and family. They were embarrassed that tank was not included.

A: It does not come with the side tank. I called GE and confirmed from the “Opal” department the side tank isn’t available yet…and once it is available, it will only be sold at Target.

A: Can you add video on the cleaning process?

A: You clean it by flipping a switch on the back and holding down the front button for 3 seconds, then the machine does the rest.

A: No. I have one you have to take to a sink drain the lines and run vinegar thru it to clean. I do it once a week or the ice starts to taste bad even though I use filtered water

A: Yes, with a switch to initiate it

A: No but it’s a super easy cleaning process !! You flip a switch on the back, run the cleaning solution through it and then flush it out !

A: The description is incorrect on the height. It is NOT 10.5 inches tall, it is 17.6 inches tall.

A: Is does make noise when making ice but it’s not as loud as our fridge ice maker.

A: It is pretty loud to be honest . This is my first ice machine and I didn’t know what to expect . I was kinda shocked how loud it is .

A: Same. I'm attempting to return mine because of this. I've had it for 7 months but it's been a constant battle from week 2 and barely use mine because of it.

A: No it doesn’t have to be!

A: It does not come with the reservoir. If you can find it and use the reservoir, then no, but mine only came with a water line like the fridge.

A: The water will automatically recirculate, if you open and close the bin, that triggers the ice to be made again, but it is an automatic process as well!!

A: It makes 33 pounds of ice per day!!

A: No this is about half the size with a tiny reservoir that you're constantly refilling. Returned it right away
