Doesnt make ice
I was skeptical to purchase this as some reviews were poor, but the ice maker went out on my fridge so I needed a quick solution. This came and I set it up according to the directions. It has only made 2 baskets of ice in 3 days. It is ridiculously loud and sometimes water pours from the spout, instead of ice. This is a horrible product that doesn’t do what it’s intended to do. DO NOT BUY!

Solid Compact Ice Maker
2nd review and took a chance based on prior review. . Unit is compact and fit and finish are very precise. Was a little noisy at first but after a couple of hours it settled down with only a tolerable light fan sound. It makes the nuggets pretty quick and the bucket filled up in about two hours. It appears well insulated too and has a slow melt rate. The unit is a nice addition to my home bar.

I use bottled water for ice cubes and like them.
This affordable ice maker is easy to operate, though it requires multiple cycles for large cubes. The noise is noticeable, but the results are worth it. If it had automatic temperature detection, it would be even better.

Great ice!
The ice maker I received was missing the ice basket and scoop, which was disappointing. However, I used the glassware basket to collect the ice, and the metal spoon worked just fine. The ice quality is still good, but it can’t keep producing ice without running. Overall, I’m satisfied with the results.

Fast ice making and affordable.
My first impressions of this ice maker are great, despite some mixed reviews I read online. The machine is large and takes up a lot of space, but it makes ice fairly quickly, producing cubes in about 10 to 15 minutes. Although the ice can be a bit wet and clump together when stored, a single press of a button resolves this. The larger cubes are also more manageable. Overall, it’s a good value for the price.

Now I have 2 door stoppers - Update
The Opal 1 ice maker we bought worked great at first, but after three months, it broke down. The store suggested replacing the compressor. We upgraded to Opal 2, and we’ve been enjoying ice ever since. However, after a month, it started making strange sounds. The machine continued to work intermittently for a few months but eventually stopped. I’m disappointed with its short life. Update: I replaced the motor and now it’s working fine again, quiet as ever.
