Exploding Kittens Match My Freak Board Game

Not my favorite game, but I think it could be fun for the right audience. The game is easy to learn and play. Pieces and cards seem durable, and I liked that it came with dry erase markers to use in the game. It was kinda fun to read all the cards.

Love how there's a mix of different types of questions of varying freak levels, and explicit permission from the rules to toss cards you don't want to answer. Definitely a fun game with a comfortable friend group - definitely not safe for work (or family unless they're totally cool like that). If you think this looks like your type of game, you will certainly not be disappointed.

The hardest part of the whole game is to keep a straight face while people discuss how freaky you are. There will be surprises! Super fun while hyped up on sugar or sleep deprivation drunk!

Nothing says bonding like having to think deeply about your friend’s bedroom habits. A fun and exciting game, it goes by quickly but does not skimp on the laughter or entertainment.

We had so much fun playing this game. I laughed so hard I cried- my adult kids friends clearly think I’m way freakier than I am. I loved hearing how these amazing people around me perceive me. So much fun. This game would be awesome after a drink or two, but it was still great sober.

Cringe worthy title aside, the game is as cute as a game with mature subject matter can be. The topics vary widely enough to not corner the players into a dirty talk corner. Love the interactive nature of the likert scale , very good tactile feedback of moving the indicator.

Played Match My Freak last night with the crew and honestly, it got way more chaotic than I expected. The whole premise is trying to guess where your friend lands on a 'Freak-O-Meter' for different scenarios, which sounds simple until you're arguing about whether someone is a 2 or a 4 on ghosting people.We were screaming at each other trying to figure out if our buddy actually cares about his partner being hot or if he's lying. The best part is definitely the 'hot seat' moments where everyone dissects your life choices while you just sit there sweating. We lost pretty quick 'cause we racked up four penalties in no time, but it was hilarious.If you like games that expose your friends' secrets, this is it. 10/10 would ruin friendships again.
