Great quick game for groups!
We had a great time playing sell me a Sasquatch for a family party. We have varying levels in the group of those board game experience and those without and everyone had a great time playing this game. We got through two quick rounds while we were waiting on dinner and played a third after eating. Everyone was able to strategize and play the game while also having a lot of fun. Learn in 5 minutes, and each round only lasted 15-20 min or so once we started playing. Allows for more than one winner in a night!

The game is engaging and fun. The creatures are so clever as well. You learn a little economics while playing . I look forward to playing it again and again while developing my own strategy of play.

A new totally different card game
My son and I listened to the Planet Money episodes documenting the creation of Sell Me a Sasquatch, from the very first idea all the way to the final episode about major retailers agreeing to carry the game. Following that journey made getting the game—and finally playing it—so much more exciting! We love that Planet Money decided to take the idea all the way and create a premium-quality product. The game itself is a lot of fun, easy to learn, and has just the right mix of strategy and silliness. Thank you, NPR and Planet Money, for creating such a fun experience and, of course, the perfect purple card game!

A fun short game!
The game moves quick, but it takes a little bit to figure out the game play the first time playing it. I am a long time listener to Planet Money, and I enjoyed the episodes that followed the journey of them making the game!

Just buy it already
I am a long time Planet Money listener and this game was very helpful in explaining economic theories to my family. The best part is the game is quick to learn and my family enjoy playing it!

Simple and devious!
We played this game several times tonight as a group of four - very fun, easy to learn, with creative little nuanced strategies that can be used to completely change the outcome of a given round and the overall game. Can’t wait to play it again!

Fun game for all, but caution arounf water and with small fonts
It took a few turns for my board games group to get the hang of it, but once we did it was well liked by all. I love Planet Money and I’m thrilled they came out with the game, but even the players that didn’t know the podcast had a good time. We liked the strategy of using action cards before the buyer got to make the deal, it added some intrigue and drama. The game was also a nice tidy length to keep the attention of anyone who doesn’t go for longer games, but not too simple to keep you from playing again next time. Our only complaints (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is the cards are not very durable and the instructional text on the cards was too small of a font for some of our players. I don’t think cards need to be waterproof, but being able to stand up to a drink ring on a table long enough to grab a nearby napkin and wipe it off should be standard IMO. I don’t think my comments it should keep anyone from buying it - the game play is worth it - just be careful and don’t forget your reading glasses.

Great mix of strategy and fun deception!
I'll admit, I'm a huge fan of planet money and bought the game as soon as it was annouced. I wasn't expecting much to be honest but I have to say, it's actually a really fun game! When I first played it with my friends, immediately two of them were so into the game they wanted to buy a copy for themselves. I have since played it two more times with different groups of people and they all really like the game. The rounds go by fast and involve some strategy as well as deception. This makes the gameplay a lot of fun, especially the thingamabobs. My friend opted for a strategy to put some bad stuff in his deal, then use a thingamabobs to remove the bad stuff, and add more good cards. But what's fun is the buyer and other players could catch onto this strategy and revealed his cards, thwarting his plan. This makes the gameplay exciting as you have to change your strategy pretty frequently to gain good cards. This makes the game super fun and replayable. The quality of the game pieces itself is really nice (love the pantone purple) and durable. I also like the reminder cards for each person. It's a good reminder for all the players on the different types of moves you can make, as well as a physical divider between your collection and deal. All you really need are the cards but the tokens, sasquatch, and deal divider things are good additions to the set. My friends are hard people to impress mostly because they don't like games being played for fun (think stupid deaths) and like a winable, strategy-based game. I think this is a great middle ground of fun deception but also keeps the aspect of objectively winning (thorugh tokens). I guess one critique is the mechanics of the game don't encourage you to argue/discuss the deals presented. The only way to degrade other people's deals and enhance your own is through the thingamabobs. Nevertheless, it doesn't stop us from begging and pleading to not take or take our deals haha. Also I'm a super big fan of planet money so you should listen to their podcast! They have a series describing how they created this game with Exploding Kittens from all the way in the begining with brainstorming to pitching the completed game to big box stores (like target lol)

Great casual game, very easy to learn and very unique!
Great casual game to play. I brought this to a brewery with family and friends, introduced them to it and we spent the next hour really falling in love with it. Also very fun to play two-player mode!

Planet Money does it again!
Planet Money has successfully created a game that simulates the economic challenge of “the market for lemons”. Listen to their podcast series on how they came up with the general idea; partnered with Exploding Kittens to refine the idea, make it a fun and educational game; and get it into big box stores. Fun for all ages and easy to play. My 5 year old daughter even loves it!

Exploding Kittens games are always great
Looking at the directions, it seemed pretty complicated, but within a couple rounds we were having fun and developing strategies. I’m a fan of Planet Money and had been following the creation of the game. Played with ages 7+.
