A Great Game to Make Your Family Mad!
We had played the original version of exploding Kittens before and loved it. This version just took our enjoyment to the next level. We played it with our son who loved how many times he got to steal cards from us and passing the rage kitten back and forth. Would definitely recommend as a great party game for the family.

All the Fun, Plus More Cat
I enjoyed this twist on the classic Exploding Kittens game. I like the addition of the trap cards which makes it riskier to steal someone else's diffuses. It feels like the stakes are a bit higher. The only problem I had was when players would forget the cat right in front of them to use to steal. But we really enjoyed the mini cat figurine, it is very cute.

Fun new addition
As an avid Exploding Kittens player I was interested to see what more rage could come with the game. My friends typically already have a decent amount of rage with the regular game. Especially when adding the streaking kitten. Rage Cat adding a new fun element that left everyone always watching their backs. There are so many areas to keep an eye on when playing. I loved the new cat cards and newer action cards. Fun new pack to add to my game pile

Return of the Kitten
Back in 2015 I was one of over 200,000 backers to a new game called Exploding Kittens and it's been part of my regular games that I've played ever since. And since then they've release many new versions and the latest being "Exploding Kittens - Rage Mode".If you've not played any version of Exploding Kittens before, a quick re-cap. 2 to 6 players are dealt a hand of cards and each players task is to avoid exploding by drawing an Exploding Kittens card. There are many ways to avoid this using cards from your hand such as reverse, skip, attach, and the ultimate....defuse card. "Rage Mode" adds a new dynamic to the game in the form of a 3 inch tall plastic kitten, the owner of the plastic talisman gets the unique skill of stealing a random card from any other player, and what's uniques about this is that it can't be stopped, making it a very powerful tool. When you initiate "Rage Mode" you pass the talisman on to the person you played it on.Each of these cards is beautifully and comically illustrated which you need to be aware of as it's easily to potentially miss your turn as study the cards in you hand. The new dynamic does add a fun new dynamic to the game, if you already own a prior version of Exploding Kittens this may not be a must buy, however, if you've never played Exploding Kittens, this is a great reason to add it to your collection.5/5 for new players4/5 for existing players!

Cool new mode for your collection.
Unlike the Cat Burglar Edition, which also includes a toy that gets passed around, the Rage Mode Edition comes with unique new cards. They are compatible with all the US Exploding Kittens editions & expansions, so you can Rage Mode your favorite deck. It's a great addition to any Exploding Kittens collection.

Rage Quitting Allowed!
My friends and I are loving this new version of Exploding Kittens! The new cards are great, I mean who doesn't love some "shared suffering"! The Rage Cat figure adds another layer of fun to the game as well. Highly recommend this game!

Interesting twists
Easy to pick up and play, like most other expansions, however the addition of cards to really frustrate the other players is a great twist to include. This version seems great to play when combined with other expansions but comes off more of an expansion that does what most people already attempt anyway.

All the RAGE!
Exploding Kittens: Rage Mode was so fun! We enjoyed playing cards against each other and trying to steal diffusers from their deck. You never knew who had an extra one, because just when we thought the next player would lose by drawing the exploding kitten, they'd play their secret diffuser 😆. Not to mention that the rage cat is really cute! This game was fun for the whole family!

Exploding Kittens Rage Mode: A Fun, Competitive Game for Eveyone
We’ve recently played the first several rounds of this game – and it lives up to the name that “Exploding Kittens” has earned. It’s a simple, quick game to learn and was understood by all of us shortly after unboxing. It’s a real hit with our family! Enjoyable from the StartOne of the best parts of the game was how quickly everyone became involved. There was no long explanation or setup, and we could easily jump right in. First-timers will be easily able to jump in with seasoned ones. Sure, it follows the Exploding Kittens vibe, but it is different enough to really feel like a different game. The game created plenty of laughter and surprises each round we played. Moreover, for us, this will be an addition to the original rather than a replacement. Competitive Without Feeling OverwhelmingThe game had just the right amount of competition. We like to compete and appreciate unexpected turns in a game that can throw off others’ strategies. Each player had a chance to make choices, react to others, and try to stay ahead, but the game's competitiveness made it exciting, especially when the lead changed with a surprise card.User-Friendly for All AgesThis card game is especially strong as a family game because it is easy to understand, and I think it is good for all ages. The instructions were clear, the pace moved quickly, and no one had to wait too long between turns. That made it ideal for a mixed group, although I will say our children are in their twenties. Final ThoughtsOverall, this is a great game! It gets my highest level of review and will be a regular we work into our rotation. I recommend it to anyone looking for a card game that is easy to teach, quick to play, and entertaining for all types of friends and family – especially those who like to compete when twists are involved.

RAGE!!!
I love this so much. Like all the other EK games, this version combines some silliness with some very cut throat cards. (I LOVE the booby trap cards) While the Rage Cat figure does provide some fun advantages, it makes a clear and (very) visible target for the other players.Built to play on its own, I don't know if I would combine it with other sets. (Or at least not yet. I am having too much fun)If you thought the original Exploding Kittens was aggressive, you havn't seen anything else. (Rumors say there are three different versions running around, depending on where you purchase the game. each version has some different cards. let the hunt begin)

Same fun with a twist!
We have the original Exploding Kittens and love it, so I was excited to see a new version. Rage Mode is just as much fun and has enough twists to make it feel a little different from the original. If you already love Exploding Kittens, this is a great addition to the collection.

Another Clever Variation
This has to be the most chaotically-entertaining version of Exploding Kittens yet. My kids and I couldn't stop playing. And I want to leave the cat on my desk just for fun.

Normal Exploding Kittens Base Game But With RAGE
# of Playtesters: 3Ages: 28-37Your normal Exploding Kittens game but with a cute lil angry cat figure that sits in front of one person giving them the power of RAGE. With RAGE you get to give the RAGE cat to someone else and steal one of their cards. Very silly and fun. The card art work is all new and hilarious.if you have Exploding Kittens perhaps skip this duplicate version. If you DONT have Exploding Kittens get this version instead of the original base game for extra silly RAGE.

Hardcore Mode Activated!
We own all the various Exploding Kittens versions that have come out over the years, but this is going to be the new favorite for taking on trips and challenging our neighbor friends to some RAAAAAGE! My wife and I played a few 2-player matches first, managing to keep our relationship in tact (haha) and then invited over our friends to battle it out. This version is great! It's cutthroat! The tables can quickly turn! There are many different ways to steal cards, especially with the newly added Rage Cat figurine, which you pass to someone, anytime, to steal. 2 of any kind? Random Steal!3 of any kind? Name that Steal!Think you're a sneaky thief and always stealing cards? BOOBY TRAP KITTEN will thwart your plans! Small enough to toss in the suitcase, or take wherever you go. Silly enough to make it difficult to be mad for long! The artwork is hilarious as always!

Rage Mode Reviews
Pros: Phenomenal card designs! I always love the drawings and puns inserted into each of the cards. My favorite part is always opening the deck and flipping through each card, admiring the designs. This was the first time seeing Shared Suffering and Booby Trap, and I really enjoyed their new card effects. Cons: While I enjoyed The Cat figure for Rage Mode, I felt it didn’t impact gameplay as much as I was expecting. I was hoping it would add an extra wrinkle to the gameplay but was left feeling a little underwhelmed there.

Still Great But...
So, the game continues to be fabulous, essentially because it's Exploding Kittens. I think that the Rage Mode doesn't add much to the playthrough. I feel like the consequence of the cat alters the play in too slight a way. It's consequence needs to feel more profound so that it has a bigger impact on the playthrough otherwise it plays a bit too much like EK where turns are random (which I suppose IS the actual mechanic.) It doesn't HURT the game in any way but it definitely feels like it could be enhanced or altered to have a bigger impact on the playthrough.

Good innovation on the original
The additional cards does really make the game more chaotic. This is like the flaming hot version of cheetos. My favorite card is the shared suffering card. Gotta trauma bond together. Just kidding. The new cards make the game go faster since you are losing cards all the time now.
