A: Hi - Our products are not tear free and are recommended for children 3 years and up. For a formula to be “tear-free” a chemical that numbs the eye is added. At Fairy Tales Hair Care our commitment to clean, gentle ingredients is important to us and our customers. Therefore, we choose not to use this chemical. We have always found a damp wash cloth over the eyes during rinsing to be super helpful in avoiding the getting product in the eye. - FTHC

Very drying
If you have extremely greasy hair, you might like this shampoo. Otherwise, it’s extremely drying to the hair and makes it limp and flyaway. The conditioner is weak as well. It may be goid if you like deep cleansing shampoo.

I like this shampoo for my kids. If hair is tangly then you need to use conditioner or a detangler. I don’t think the shampoo makes tangles.
