Piece of junk
I received this as a Christmas present. Only 3 of the 4 propellers work, so it won't lift off the ground. If you call the customer service line included with the toy, they will provide technical support for a low $75 fee. Or you can return it to them for repair for a smaller shipping & handling fee. Target won't accept it as a return since I destroyed the box opening it & threw it away. So it was a total waste of $30. Far less frustrating to just take your $ and flush them down the toilet. I

Do yourself a favor, avoid!!
I was on the fence when my son wanted to use his Christmas money on this toy as it was so small for $30. I should have listened to my intuition! This thing doesn't work at all. Fully charged and it signals with the blinks and beeps as soon as its turned on...and never gets off the ground . Awful awful product. I'll be seeking a refund for my child.

Don't waste your money
Barely lasted 3 days! I followed the instructions and tried to swap the propellers to clear the pet hair that was instantly tangled and it broke. $30 is a lot to break so quickly.

For 30 bucks, it’s cheap — but what’s the point if it doesn’t work? We could not get this drone to hover at all. It would lift maybe 10 inches, then immediately drop as if it didn’t have enough power to stay airborne. On top of that, it kept drifting sideways straight into the floor, so “trimming” it was impossible. You can’t adjust something that won’t fly in the first place. After 50 minutes of charging, we got maybe 5 minutes of this struggle. We tried multiple times with the same result. Returned it to the store. Unfortunately, this is the second FAO Schwarz product we’ve bought and had to return. At this point, it feels like they’re selling junk.

Cheap Price For A Cheap Product With Horrible Customer Support
I've given this product two stars because we had more fun than we thought we would when buying this. I purchased this drone because it was marked down nearly $10 so it was cheap. For what you get, it can be a lot of fun. But there is a design flaw with the drone propellers - hair gets stuck in the rotors and it loses the ability to take off or to go very fast. It does come with spare propellers, and the instructions say to remove the installed propellers you need to "Pull directly up on each damaged propeller until it releases from the drone" and though I was able to successfully change out the back propeller, the front one as well as the two sides would not come off. I even managed to pull the whole rotor out with the propeller on the front one. Now the whole drone is useless. When calling the company's customer service, they said the month long warranty was voided because hair got in the rotor... I told them it’s clearly a design flaw if the drone can passively collect hair in a house without central air, and that I followed instructions to replace propellers on a product that comes with 4 spares for this exact scenario. Their customer service was truly awful and Target says I have to try and get it sorted with the manufacturer. I would recommend spending a little more on a different brand that’s built better, and not buy this even though it is cheap. It lasted three whole days.

Do not control properly
Drone does not control as described. When pressing flight button drone is supposed to go up and hover there. Ours went up and drifts quickly into objects. Reset does not help. Unable to correct with trim controls. It’s absolute junk!

Just like the other reviews state, the battery life is truly disappointing. Also, total safety hazard as the charging cord completely melted and nearly started an electrical fire. User beware; use at your own risk and under very close supervision if drone operator is a child

Don't bother
The battery life is very poor. The left joystick sticks in any position you try to move it to. Definitely not user friendly for a kid, even though it's FAO Schwartz brand.

Not worth it even at this price
We saw reviews about short battery life, that is what it is and part of the deal at this price point. But on first day my son grazed a packaging box with the drone and ended up with a bit of thread wrapped around one propellor. They give you extra rotors and instructions about how to remove them. Except they do not come off according to the instructions (or ours didn't, at least) and you end up damaging the frame in the attempt so that the toy is garbage. Do not recommend.
