This fryer gets to temperature fairly quickly and holds a good consistent temperature. But several problems with this have made me return it. First the filters that are in the lid. The cover has never properly fit on the device. So if you tilt the lid off the cover at all the filters fall out. Finally the other day one actually fell into my cooking oil. Today I tried to change the oil using the filtration system in the bottom. It will not drain. I have read reviews on several sites and tried all the tricks that others have, and it still won’t drain. Back it goes! Don’t buy it.
