I've done keto in the past. (I have Hashimotos/hypothyroid & sometimes adrenal issues). when I first did keto I lost 45 pounds and felt great, then I started gaining weight and having pain. my t3 tanked and I had no idea while. this book as helped so much. I've already incorporated 17 hour fasts with my cycle. It has taken away pain I was getting in my feet. If you are having hormonal issues, thyroid, adrenal, PCOS, diabetes, this book is very helpful. Dr. Mindy has YouTube videos as well if your an auditory learner. Thus book just explains more and has everything in one place. I am now able to walk on the treadmill and get outside with no pain. Hands down, I recommend this.

Well written and organized with actionable advice for all people. While focused mainly in women in all stages of life it is a good book for a supporting partner as well. Mindy Pelz has a mission to help millions to reverse diseases that can be prevented and this book is a comprehensive guide on how to do that for yourself. Has easy to understand science behind her statements along with plans of action and even some recipes. I really enjoy this book and hope that you will as well. I also bought the audio version as well.

This book is amazing and so insightful. I’ve known that my body needs a fast for years. I’ve experienced extreme stress for several years and my body changed. It got stuck! So excited to be entering into my first 72 hour water fast!
