This stapler is a great tool to have! It has non-slip grips on the bottom to keep it from sliding on my desk. The shape of the top makes it easy to load/unload and it fits in my hand nicely for a quick stapling job any time I need it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK, honestly, I thought a stapler was a stapler. I was wrong. I am a teacher and this is seriously the best stapler I have ever used. I can staple huge documents that would previously *not* be stapled, it never jams (no matter how hard the kids slam it), and it has a lovely feel when you use it. (No, I didn't know a stapler could feel lovely either until I used this one.) It feels substantial but not too heavy should you be using it to attach papers to the wall. I wouldn't say it makes assembling large packets of materials fun, but it makes it a lot easier. Sturdy in design it just plain works when you need it to. I have stapled nearly a hundred items and have had no failures or jams. The fact that can easily swing open for tacking is a plus. If I had a criticism, the only thing I would mention is that the lip of the top handle extends a good ways out from the stapling mechanism, so you have to adjust your view to ensure it is lining up to where you want to staple on the paper. I do love the ease of picking it up for one hand stapling. Great product.

I gave it the acid-test and stapled 32 sheets of a tax document on heavy 20-lb paper stock. A quick ninja-style whack and the staple penetrated without collapsing and folded over correctly on the back. I have an old Swingline no. 4 stapler given to me around 1960 that I've used for over 60 years. The LX820 stapler is superior because I can use it with one hand to staple bags closed. I got this stapler just before we started creating items for our classroom art show. I was honestly surprised and amazed by how efficient it was at binding together construction paper for our books. It easily stapled together 15 pages of construction when I had previously not been able to using another a different name brand stapler. I was also able to easily staple our art work to the wall without have to use much force. This is a great stapler for anyone who might who needs a stapler that requires minimal force to bind together multiple sheets of paper. I am so glad that I have this stapler for our classroom. The kids have been so excited to have a stapler that they can easily use on their own without needing assistance from a grownup.

I have been through several hundred staples, sometimes stapling over the top of other staples (on purpose) and there has not even been even one jam. It opens up flat so I can staple things to the wall boards with ease. It doesn't slip across my desk while using it. It stapled continuously without jamming and made me extremely productive (unlike my old stapler). I didn't realize it was treated with Microban, that resist stains and bacteria, which makes the white color not so bad anymore. Overall I am very pleased with the stapler; I appreciate the sleek design and sturdy construction. It looks great on my desk!
