I’m sure we’ve all replaced our HVAC filter at some point in our lives and you notice how flimsy but large the cardboard framed filter elements are. This product has a robust durable frame that is completely reusable and filter element inserts. Less waste than a traditional cartridge, and you really don’t have to worry about it bending like the cheap cardboard framed ones that traditionally are used. I will update when it’s time to change the filter element!

The idea just make sense, and I am not sure why it has not been done before. The installation was super easy, even for someone with no handy man skills such as myself. And it fit my furnace like a glove. As far as performance? Seems to do as well as my previous high end filter if not better. I love how little waste there is and so much is reusable. It’s good for the environment, and my wallet. That’s a win win I can get behind.

For myself, I prefer the single use filters over this concept because I live in a rural area and the refills wouldn’t be readily available without planning ahead. Other than that issue, I think the filters would be great for most people!

I live on a dirt road in the country I purchased an air purifier and it help a little but once I changed my filter to this it was night and day. My home was so fresh. The old one was disguising and made out of cardboard. The Filtrete came with plastic reusable brackets are were easier to install.

During unboxing the first thing I noticed was the durability of the hard shell, and the easily replaceable filter element. I love how easy it is to install, how it is clearly marked for air flow, and the fact its environmentally friendly since the outer casing is reusable. We put it to the test for a month and the air is still clean smelling and we have noticed much less dust in the house compared to the economy filters we have been using. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT!

The refills fold up so they are convenient to store without taking up a ton of space. It was simple to put together and install in furnace. You simply place the cardboard filter in the light blue frame and place the darker blue frame back on top. Love cutting down on waste, saving money and saving space!

The difference in air quality is noticeable within just a day or two of installation. I especially like the higher MPR (Microparticle Performance Rating) filters like the 1900 or 1500 series — they do a fantastic job of capturing dust, pollen, pet dander, and even smoke particles. Installation is super easy — just slide the old one out and pop the new one in. I usually change it every 2 to 3 months as recommended, and you can see how much it's collected when you take the used one out (kind of gross, but also satisfying!). What I like: Great for allergy sufferers — I sneeze way less since using these. Solid construction — it doesn’t bend or collapse in the vent. Good airflow — even with high filtration, it doesn’t restrict the system. Optional smart versions that track usage via app are cool for tech lovers. What could be better: The price is a bit higher than generic brands, but I think it's worth the extra for the quality. Sometimes harder to find exact sizes in-store, but online availability is great. Overall, Filtrete filters are my go-to for keeping indoor air clean and helping my HVAC system run efficiently. Highly recommend!
