Final Fantasy VII Rebirth: Deluxe Edition - PlayStation 5

I preordered this back in September only to have it get canceled a month later without my knowledge. In January I discovered this and was able to get it ordered again before out of stock. Then the day before it was set to ship they canceled my order. Do NOT put your faith in them for your preorders if you are hoping on getting it. You would be better ordering anywhere else. For the first time I put my faith in them over my usuals and I highly regret it

Pre-ordered this game months ago only to find out on the release date that Target cancelled my order. There was no help at all with the associates online (Jordan and Emily were awful). Please do not waste your money ordering this item with Target and purchase it with another seller.

I preordered this deluxe edition back in October 2023 (5 months ago) and my order was just cancelled. Target claims it is a supplier issue. The problem is this went back in stock a week before release and people were able to preorder at that time. Those people who ordered within 1 week of release received what they ordered but people who ordered 5 months in advance got nothing. Target messed up big on this one. They should be fulfilling orders placed months ago instead of the ones placed days ago.

The collector's Edition was automatically canceled at Target. Buy somewhere else.

The one star is for Target. The game is amazing, but thanks for canceling my preorder 2 days after the game came out. Now I have no deluxe edition and no preorder bonus. Ridiculous.

I usually have positive things to say about Target, but my recent experience has been disappointing. Despite having pre-ordered an item since September last year, I was dismayed to receive an email informing me that my order was cancelled due to technical issues, with no further explanation. It's frustrating, especially since I placed my pre-order as soon as it became available, expecting that Target would secure enough stock for pre-orders. The whole point of pre-ordering, I thought, was to reserve a product from the company's designated inventory for such orders. My disappointment with Target is profound. It would have been considerate for the company to communicate earlier if they noticed a mismatch between inventory levels and pre-order numbers. I hope this feedback reaches Target and prompts them to prevent such issues in the future, especially for items that are limited in quantity and supposedly reserved. Target, please ensure this does not happen again, particularly with products that are already scarce and counted on by your loyal customers.

I ordered this back in September of 23. Target canceled my order March 1st of 24. You’re going to tell me that I was towards the last person to preorder this? Target should fulfill those who ordered first and cancel those who preordered last. Never again will I ever preorder anything from Target again. Done

Thank you target for canceling my order after sending me an email last week saying it should be arriving between 2/29-3/2. This was a preorder from December. Also lost my circle coupon for 25% off a game. Horrible service.

I preordered this back in September 2023 and Target waited until release day to cancel my order. This is the last time I preorder anything from them.

I’m sure the actual item is wonderful but I may never know. Hopefully more of this edition will be produced. Once again, Target has dropped the ball on preorders. I submitted mine 6 months ago only for it to be “backordered” and surprise cancelled two days after release. Target may be within its rights with its preorder policy and terms but now I’m out on something I’ve anticipated for nearly four years with barely an apology email. Go elsewhere for your preorders; the RedCard 5% discount isn’t enough to gamble on actually getting your item.

DONT PRE-ORDER FROM TARGET!! MY ORDER WAS CANCELED. NOW THIS ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. PREORDERS MEAN GURANTEED COPIES BUT FOR TARGET, THEY COULD CARE LESS

Target sold us this item for preorder in September 2023 then canceled the day after release. There were countless opportunities to order this product elsewhere in that time frame. Now it is not available anywhere. Do not preorder from target. They don’t actually deliver preorders.
