Book Synopsis

Recognise and overcome feelings of inadequacy in psychotherapist Jess Henley's comprehensive guide, Find Your Path through Imposter Syndrome.

Imposter syndrome is the silent saboteur of self-confidence, whispering doubts and convincing individuals that their successes are mere flukes.

This book delves into the psychology of imposter syndrome, offering insights into its origins and manifestations. Through a blend of therapeutic techniques, including part work, tapping, and meditation, Henley guides readers in dismantling the beliefs that fuel their self-doubt, including:

  • Exercises to identify and reframe limiting beliefs.
  • Techniques to build self-esteem and self-worth.
  • Mindfulness practices to stay grounded and present.
  • Strategies for embracing achievements and acknowledging success.
  • Tools to cultivate a positive self-image and confidence.

Find Your Path through Imposter Syndrome empowers readers to recognize their true value and step into their potential with confidence. It's a transformative resource for anyone looking to break free from the chains of self-doubt.

Part of the Find Your Path series, which sheds light on a range of common mental-health struggles - from anxiety and depression to imposter syndrome and resilience - and offers practical, compassionate techniques for navigating life's inevitable challenges.

About the Author

Jess Henley has been a psychotherapist for fourteen years and runs her own private practice in the New Forest. She completed her training and Transpersonal Psychotherapy Masters at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in London. Her thesis explored the transformative and healing power of humor. Her approach is integrative, combining the power and information of the body and the mind to help her clients to find clarity, strength and peace. She is passionate about the use of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and exploring the different parts of the self and how they influence the way we function. She is also trained in EMDR, a specialized form of therapy that helps to heal the destructive impact of trauma. She believes that the key to self-development is to be constantly questioning and curious, which enables healing and personal growth in any situation. She is a published journalist and author of The Little Stress-Relief Workbook. Jess can be found online at www.henleypsychotherapy.co.uk.
