Q: I bought 7 of these Fingerlings 2023 NEW Interactive Monkeys for Xmas gifts. I read that the LR44 batteries last 8 hours? Why would you make a toy with LR44 batteries that last 8 hours?

A: Thank you for purchasing Fingerlings! WowWee's Fingerlings ship with 4 x LR44 batteries included, which are both small, lightweight, and provide many hours of silly fun! When switched on, your Fingerlings respond to touch and are designed to turn off if not being played with to conserve energy. This feature helps Fingerlings last much longer between battery changes. If your Fingerlings are not responding, try turning them OFF, then ON again – they may have just gone to sleep to conserve energy. If your Fingerlings don’t respond or are slow to react, it's probably time to change the batteries.

They're awesome. I love them. My kid has been asking for the whole set like literally all of them and I've been like it's Christmas coming up. It's November 13, 2025 like it's almost Christmas. You don't need toys right now but I can get you that for your birthday And Christmas is what I said.

Long lasting, but just a bit annoying
I bought my daughter one of the latest models over 3 years ago. We found it in a closet, turned it on, and it works as good as new!! The only complaint is that if your child loves it, you might hate it. It's a bit loud and has a lot of noise, but overall I love it.

Kids love this little monkey!
This is the weirdest little thing, but kids ages 4-7 just love it! And for the price, you can’t go wrong. (Unless the little monkey voice drives you crazy, which in that case I apologize!!) I teach kindergarten and so many kids had them and loved them.

My daughter does really like it. But the battery life is so low and she was upset that it kept clicking after low batteries. We have two of them and the batteries drained way too quickly. And the batteries are watch batteries which are more expensive than typical batteries and not always as easily accessible. I feel like 10 dollars would have been more fitting. As much as she likes it, I don't want to keep buying batteries after like two hours total of use.
