The pomade held his comb over for the day with slight shine but was not sticky or did not have that wet gel look to it. The pomade was easy to apply by rubbing a small amount on your fingers and then working thru the hair. This pomade has a light, fresh scent that smells good. This would be good to use a texturing product also. It washed out of his hair and did not flake.
