This looks really nice in person and the color burgundy is exquisite . For the price, you can’t expect a heavy or solid lamp. Solution to the problem of it easily tipping, would be to put a marvel small item on the base, like Target sells; I saw a nice small marble heavy like dish in the magnolia section; or perhaps, tape the base down underneath with two sided thick tape.

Manufacturing error - the base of the lamp does not screw on the bottom pole. They need to fix it or remove these lamps from the shelf.

The lamp itself is pretty and a nice reddish brown color. Quality of build is very disappointing for price, lamp leans as described by others. There is no way to tighten the pole down further to the base to prevent the lean.

I agree with the other review, the pole doesn't tighten to the base, so when the heavy lamp shade is added the lamp leans forward at a crooked angle. Also, the lamp I received, the top decorative portion of the pole had no threads to screw it into the pole. It was extremely frustrating. The base is very heavy, which is great, but it filled with sand, which I found out after noticing a part of the plastic bottom had a hole in it. All in all Target's quality is garbage, this purchase has made me think twice about shopping here in the future.

The pole didn’t properly screw into the base, therefore you couldn’t fully tighten it into the base and it made the lamp wobbly and crooked. It’s a shame it was made poorly, would’ve been really cute otherwise.
