Summary of reviews
The reviews for this tortellini highlight significant dissatisfaction, particularly regarding the texture and flavor of the cheese filling. Many guests report that the cheese remains hard and grainy even after cooking, leading to a disappointing dining experience. Some guests, however, found success when pairing it with flavorful sauces or using it in soups. Overall, the product seems to lack the quality expected from a pasta dish, making it a less favorable choice for many.

These did not cook well at all. The exterior noodle was fine, but the cheese inside stayed hard.

Like everyone says the cheese was hardened in the middle and a nasty texture. I would definitely refrain from buying this again

The dried cheese did not hydrate during cooking. It was hard and chewy. My son opened each pasta to remove the hard cheese. If I would have continued cooking the tortellini beyond the recommended time, they would have fallen apart more than they did.

Does not taste good. When cooked to the shortest suggested time they were falling apart yet had a hard piece in the middle. Will not buy again, fresh is best!
Do not buy.

This pasta is one of Target's "Good & Gather" gems. If you cook it properly, according to the directions on the bag, and, like any pasta, use plenty of water and a few pinches of salt, it's a great weeknight staple. In a house with 5 adults, one batch using the entire bag and a jar of marinara sauce barely lasts two days. You just add whatever meat and vegetable options you want to it to make a complete meal. So, if you don't struggle to cook ramen properly, you can figure this out.

if i could leave 0 stars i would. the cheese never melts, first time i cooked them for about 11 minutes and still had hard unmelted cheese bits. so the 2nd time i cooked them for 16 minutes, the noodles were cooked but there were STILL unmelted cheese pieces. I will never buy this again.

Wish I looked at the reviews before I purchased it. I cooked the tortellini according to the instructions on the package. I even sampled one before I took it off the stove to rinse. Tasted fine. BUT, after tossing it with other ingredients, I had a bowl and to my surprise and DISGUST, found that pieces of the tortellini did not cook properly. Random pieces will have chunks of HARD, disgusting “cheese” that didn’t cook. Needless to say I had to toss the whole pot. It was a waste of money and waste of my time spent making dinner. YUCK

Worst tasting tortellini. Barilla has a similar product that is much better. After cooking, it either fell apart or had a hard cheese filling. I tossed the rest of the bag.

I wish I could give these a zero. Literally the most disgusting tortellini option I’ve ever tried. The “cheese” inside is brown and chunky

They need to bring back the market pantry frozen tortellini. It was cheaper and tasted substantially better.

I used to love this tortellini a couple of years ago, but somewhere along the way they must have changed the recipe. No matter how long I cook it now, the filling will not become soft. It stays hard and crumbly in 95% of the pasta. I have cooked the tortellini until it was falling apart and the filling was still hard.
