i'm sure nobody will respond to this, but I thought I would give it a try your company ruined my Thanksgiving dinner. I always prepare a green bean casserole and half for 40 years and I've normally always used French crispy onions on top and inside casserole looking forward to it cause it's a family favorite. I don't know what you're doing what you changed. It was the most horrendous meal it tainted everything I purchased the onions on Thursday morning cause I thought I had I can't already, but I was out and so my daughter went down to Fred Meyer's and got a new one Thanksgiving morning. It's a little white tops just enough for I could least make the casserole put the casserole together having my turkey and my dressing all the goodies that we have cause to me, nothing says Thanksgiving, like stuffing and turkey and sweet potatoes and French green bean casserole. Well as it's warming up I keep smelling a funky smell thinking maybe it's a candle burning wiring in the stove anything it keeps on getting worse can't still figure it out so so we're getting ready we're all sitting at the table. We have our plates and I still keep on smelling this smell well here it's coming from the green bean casserole, but it's tainted all the other food on the plates and it smells like petroleum or gasoline here. It's the fried onions. It was awful. We had to throw eight plates of food away it was so bad and it touched the other stuff green bean casserole touched the mashed potatoes touch the sweet potatoes touch the dressing. It was awful. What is the matter with you people selling us food like that they were buying with our hard own money. How do explain that the fried onions smell horrendously like petroleum can you explain that? Can you explain why your product was so bad ruined my Thanksgiving meal? I took it back to the grocer and they said they've already had numerous complaints and they could smell this horrendous. Smell through the plastic bag and container. What the heck!!They said they were going to report it, but you know how things are these you can't believe anybody sometimes . I spent more time in the bathroom that night then visit with my family and I won't go in the details. I asked them pleased to take it off the shelves at the store the end caps everywhere because I'm 66-year-old woman fairly healthy but I'm thinking somebody that really has a compromise immune system could get really sick beside sitting in the I'm very disappointed and we are forced to have subpar food anymore and safe to say it's something I won't be eating another favorite that is gone. I even called French's on Monday 12/2/2024 to request it to be removed out the shelf because it was taxed and smelled so bad. The customer service representative said she would follow up with an email right after the phone call. I sent pictures UPS number everything and also sent everything by text and as of today, Friday, December 6 I never got a response very sad. Very sad that it's another product. I no longer will use.

We have purchased the French's Crispy Fried Onions for MANY years, not just for holidays! Had a BIG dinner for Thanksgiving & this product totally ruined mt Swiss Medley Casserole!!! Product is greasy, wet, and not at all crispy!!?? Almost soggy...Purchase 2 6oz. containers. BOTH are sub-standard. Taste like old dirty grease!!!???? Not only were they inside and on top of my casserole, but also on top of a HUGE bowl of salad. ALL of the guests at our table were picking them out. They are also VERY SALTY... Containers were purchased 2 days prior to Thanksgiving. Exp. date ib the containers; BEST BY JUNE 30, 2025. TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope someone reads these reviews, as we are VERY upset with the product that ruined
our holiday dishes... SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We purchased a 6 oz container from Ralphs. Upon breaking the foil seal, there was no product inside the container. It was completely empty, so we were missing an ingredient on Thanksgiving Day.

Disappointed this year! My GB casserole for Thanksgiving was awful! I had to throw out the double batch I made. I smelled the bag this morning and it just smelled off. The casserole had a bitter taste to it. The bag was bought just 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. What happened to your recipe?

Worst product ever! After putting together in a green bean casserole and serving did me and my guests notice a plastic smell and taste. Tossed the whole casserole away and smelled the new container (use by day 7/2025) and it smelled like plastic! Awful! I ate my portion to save my guests but regret it very much now. Never again!!

I was so disappointed with my last purchase of these. They are not crispy at all, and taste stale. I saw some other comments about them being clumped together, these aren't but they are limp and taste... bad. I have been eating these my whole life, I put them in salads even, but these, these are not good. Now I can't make my Thanksgiving dinner, cause the sstore is sold out, and these are just inedible. For the first time ever i have to give these a bad review and say I do not reccommend

I buy this product quite a bit and for the very first time, I opened one (sealed tightly by the way) and it was all stuck together and moldy and had a very strong foul odor to it. I was so disappointed, as I was using it to cook dinner the other night. Thank God I had another container of it to use which was good. I don't want to have to go to a store brand as we really do like yours, but this has really deterred me

I bought the 2.8 Oz container last week. Exp date 11/26/2025. I worked retail for decades and make sure about dates. They aren't crispy at all and I can't return them because of no receipt. Never had this happen before...

We buy the French's French fried onions all the time but usually in the small resealable tub. This time we bought the large bag and then we're unable to resealable it and had to transfer the product into a gallon sized glad bag with a working resealable strip.

Ruined dinner with the amount of salt on them. I've bought frenches for years and have never remembered this much salt on them. Store brand only from here on out until frenches reduces sodium.

Always enjoyed these fried onions. Until I bit down on a rock. Thought I had broken a tooth but after washing and inspecting the bit and my mouth, it is clearly a small pebble.

Quality control had an epic fail in this container of French's fried onions. Despite label stating crisp, they were soft. And I have never in my 68 yrs had onion skins mixed in the product. Very disappointed.

I bought these crispy onions for a casserole I was making. The amount of salt on them completely ruined the recipe. Throwing them out and will never buy again. 60mg of salt per 2tbs is insane.

They are delicious but way too salty. Can't you guys cut the sodium in half for those of us who have to be more mindful of our sodium intake? Ridiculous!
