Loveeee this rug!
I love the way this rug looks in my living room! I’ve been looking for a rug for a long time and my husband helped me choose this one and I’m so glad I did! Great quality and fast shipping. Affordable too. I don’t feel like it needed a rug pad, but I had already bought one since it recommended one. With my furniture on top it would have stayed in place and been plenty padded.

Looks cute, but wool = messy!

We really love the way it looks and feels, HOWEVER, bc it’s in our living room (high traffic area), it def creates tons of large wool fuzzies. We have had one other wool rug before, so really I should have learned, but I did fall in love with the look of it. We plan to still keep it and just vacuum a ton more!

It's definitely a beautiful rug, but...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rug is quite captivating in person! It's weighted and feels quality. However, the tone of the rug is a bit warmer in color than it is in the picture. I was hoping it would be a true neutral, but it does have a slightly golden undertone. I took a picture to share in my review and it looks perfectly neutral in the photo, so it's hard to capture the true soft, golden undertone in a photo. Also the rug had a few small black blemishes here and there. I'm not sure if it was from being shipped or if it came from the factory like that. The fibers of the rug are very densely packed together so it's not as plush under foot as I would have hoped either. I would describe it as firm but still comfortable. It is going to fill up your vacuum with shedding, as wool rugs typically do. But overall, I still deem it an eye-catcher. It's a statement rug, but not in an overbearing way. Despite the nuisances, it's definitely worthy keeping after a 2 year search for a living room rug.

Doesn’t Stop Shedding
Maybe I just got a dud version but this rug has not stopped shedding. I got it in December and have vacuumed once a week since then (3+ months). This is 2 MINUTES of vaccuming. This rug actually broke my other vacuum because it couldn’t handle the amount of shedding. I would’ve thought it would be done by now but no. Would not recommend at all.

Color not as expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this rug for our guest room. It’s high quality, well made and heavy. Unfortunately, I was expecting the color to be a slightly cooler tan/beige shade, and this rug definitely has warmer, almost yellow undertones. Not sure if I’m going to keep it since it doesn’t pair as well with the rest of the space.

OBSESSED! I absolutely love the Nepenthe Checked Wool Rug in Beige! It looks so nice in my primary bedroom! It’s super soft and I haven’t noticed any shedding! It’s a great neutral wool rug — I have so many rooms I could use it in! Highly recommend!!
