Arrived on time. It is light weight, easy to unload and set up. The remote is a great convenience. The unit is quiter and performs as well, if not better, than our larger Heisense. We got it on-sale at 1/2 the price a coupon. Great value! Now let's see how well it holds up under the Las Vegas heat!

We live in central texas and use this on our back porch. It is quite humid in the mornings, but by evening it is near 100 and the air is dryer. It is perfect during that time to allow us to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors. It's not like an air conditioner, but the temperature change can be felt when the cooling kicks in. We direct the fan right at us. The ice packs make a huge difference- we make sure one is always frozen and ready to go. For our needs this has been a game changer- we used to abandon hope of being outside at all in the summer months, but now we can enjoy it! Note we are accustomed to heat and we still sweat a bit, but it makes it tolerable. Best purchase this year! I recommend a mosquito net as well and a glass of wine 😊

Truly a 100% mobile evaporative cooler! Though not ideal if you live in hot/humid states like I do (Florida 🥵), it's still acceptable alternative to having no cold air at all! Tip: I like to add a few heaping layers of ice, and a scoop of "in-wash scent booster" (that you'd typically use for the washing machine) before I add water to the tank, then I add the two provided reusable ice packs. IMO, this extra step of adding ice helps increase the coolness effect and makes the water itself last a tad bit longer since the ice has to melt first. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We can't afford to replace the ac right now and this cooler is a fantastic "band-aid" to an extremely expensive problem. The drawback is that it's not quiet so if you're watching tv or on a zoom call, turn it down to the lowest setting. Other than that, 100% recommended!!

the item works very well and good

used this in our gym when the rooftop AC unit died. I have no windows that open, so a portable AC unit was not an option. This keeps cool feeling air moving and helps some. Not something that will cool the overall temp of the room, but it feels cooler. Not a bad option when an AC unit is not able to be used.

Update: The original unit I received did not work right, it kept beeping and the pump would turn off within a minute of use. The seller quickly reached out and offered a replacement. I received the replacement in just a few days after communication and it works great. Unit cools a large garage nicely on high.

We use this product on our back patio to try to offset some of the 103* temperatures we have been experiencing in Texas this summer. The cooler performed very well and did a good job of making "sitting on the patio watching the ballgame" much more comfortable!! Great Product!! I believe my son and my daughters family are planning to purchase units for their homes also!

Doesn't cool quit as well as described but does do the job for the most part.

This machine works wonderfully. However, both Ice packs had holes in them & leaked the fluid out everywhere. Fridgidaire did issue a refund to compensate for the ice packs. Since any ice pack can be used, it's not that big of a deal I suppose.

This fan definitely helps when sitting out on our patio on a hot Florida summer day. I liken it to a cool fall breeze. My only complaint is that the louvers are a bit cheap. They could be built a little bit stronger as they have already started to come apart.

What these swamp coolers really need is a function that keeps the water cool because as soon as the water warms up, this becomes pretty useless. It works fantastic when the water is cold, but you'll likely run into the same problem I was in warm weather where the water gets too warm over time, even with the ice packs, and it begins to not work as well for cooling. What I suggest is this: if you will be using it for a long time like all day, don't fill the tank all the way. Fill it half-way and then fill it again later on with cold water and a new cold ice pack. That way, you aren't working with warm water the second half of the day.That issue aside, this does work very well with cold water. It almost feels air-conditioner-cold at first. It has a powerful air flow, too. I do like it a lot, I just wish it had a feature that keeps water cool!EDIT: A few days later, and both my ice packs split in the freezer, just like everyone else's. Sort of ridiculous that they include such horrible ice packs with this machine. I ordered six of these ice packs in Mini size (three of them fit in the top reservoir perfectly so I got three extras to keep cool while the first three are in use so I can rotate them): Igloo Performance Ice Blocks - Mini . They last much longer than the ice packs that came with this machine! I highly recommend that you get them, too.

Ordered June 12th 22' delivered 3 days later which was great being its hot in west Texas and I was working on a car in my garage. It hasn't even been 4 months at this point and the water pump has given up at life. This was a great cooler up until this point, but I didn't pay nearly $400 for a fan.Edit. The company has reached out to me about replacement and/or refund. I am unsure if the replacement would have the same issue or if I just received a defective one. The customer service has been helpful. I will update again upon resolve.Edit. Part 2. The company has issued a full refund for the defective product. Hopefully mine was just defective and the others are OK. It worked really good before the pump quit.

This unit works really well and is solidly built. Maybe too solid. I tried to take the back panel off to see how easy it would be to replace the water filters and it's really tight. I'm afraid if I force it, I will break retaining clips. Luckily, I just bought this unit and shouldn't have to replace the filters anytime soon.

I have had a smaller unit of a different brand for years. I like that this unit holds about 8 gallons so that it doesn't need refilling so often. The filling from the top is much more convenient than filling from the side. It is important to keep a window open so that the humidity doesn't build up in the house. Since we usually have a 35 to 40 degree difference in temperature from day to night, we open the windows wide in the morning and then just one window a couple of inches open as the day heats. We have central air conditioning which we set at 80 and run for about 2 hours in the late afternoon. We stay comfortable in 100 degree weather.

The cooler works very well and it does cool some but I still like it.
